Fantastic Laser!
This little laser doesn't look real fancy, nor does the packaging, but once you snap it in place and turn it on, the laser shoots out there quite a ways. I sighted this in using a bore sight. Fired about 200 rounds out of the old Walther P22 and it's still on target. Very nice to be able to shoot it from about any position without having to look down the sight. The wife used this pistol to shoot for a concealed carry class and out shot 4 out of 9 people in the class, which was also the first time she shot the gun as it didn't arrive until the night before the class. Plan on putting one of these on her PK 380 also. Definitely worth the $100 price tag.11-20-13==I had asked the question to many suppliers prior to buying this, if it would fit both the the Walther P22 and the PK380. I just took it this off the P22 and slid it on the PK380 and it locks in place just fine. Looks as good as it does on the P22 and with a couple turns of the windage and elevation set screws, the wife was back in business in about 5 minutes.

Love this laser
Bought a Walther P22 for self defense weapon. The better half is loving the new laser. It's dead on and bright. Day or night. The on-off switch is a slider type that is onlyon the right side of laser. For right handers, it's perfect. It's made to fit exactly for the Walther.Get an extra set of batteries before heading out.The supplied batteries say P44 but the that is not a standard Americanbattery number. Look on the back of different batteries and it says replaces XX.All-in-all love the laser sight. Get one if its a lady shooter, really steps up the shooting score

Ok.....bear with me here
The media could not be loaded. Ok, I ordered this thing as it's an original Walther part and all the reviews were golden. When it arrived I had to cut it out of one of them annoying, sealed plastic boxes. When will everyone get rid of those things? I installed the batteries and hit the switch and voila, it works. I then put in on the rail of my Walther P22 and it "locked" into place, or so I thought. Aimed it at a wall about 20 feet away and using windage and elevation adjustments, got the laser about the same as the iron sights. Figured I'd fine tune it the next day at the range. The next day, I was at the range and fired off about 3-4 rounds using the iron sights before I noticed the laser had actually slipped partway off the rail. I put it back and fired off another few rounds and the same thing happened. I had to remove the laser for the rest of that range session. When I got home, I noticed that the snap lock for the laser wasn't seating properly in the rail. I thought that maybe the sticker underneath was generating too much space for the lock to engage so I removed it. That didn't fix the problem. I could still slide the laser on the rail and, without touching the lock levers, remove the laser by merely pulling on it. I didn't want to go through the hassle of a return and I ruined the plastic box opening it so I thought..... "Maybe a little Loctite will hold it in place". When the Loctite arrived, it said metal to metal only so I took a step back and actually looked at the laser. While pressing up on the bottom of the laser housing, I noticed the "internal laser housing" was moving. You can see it in the video. It's the brass part. Looking around I noticed 2 silver philips screws along the outer edge of the laser housing. (see the photo). I figured, what the heck and put a jewelers screwdriver in there and they were loose. I tightened them down a bit and it stabilized the brass laser housing. I had to do a bit of tweaking. The screws need to be 'just' tight enough to hold the laser relatively still but not so tight that the elevation and windage allen screws can't move the housing for adjustment. After doing that adjustment, I noticed that it cinched everything up and now the locking lever that sits under the rail actually engages the rail. It no longer slips by pulling on it. I'm off to the range tomorrow to check things out, but it appears really solid now.If you're scared about messing with a $90 laser sight, don't. Just return it if it's loose. If you've got a few minutes and can figure out how this actually works, you might have to fiddle with it for a few minutes to fine-tune it.

Walther P22 looks like a more powerful gun
The beautiful design for this laser make the little 22 look like a bigger gun, and fits into the contours like it was meant to be.A nice feature is that there are 2 dim red lights facing back so you know the laser is on.

No more iron sights. Aim with the red dot.
Out of the package, installed batteries, snapped it on - READ directions for sighting in and you have a great addition to the walther p22. Once sighted in I can keep a 3-4 inch grouping off hand from 30 feet... for self defense and not having to use iron sights that's all I need to protect myself. Laser is bright for use during the day and perfect for nighttime use. Bought holster as well and the combo works well together.

Satisfactory sight worth the addition.
This sight fits very well to the P22. The aim of the sight is very sensitive to distance. If set to be on the front sight at 15 feet, it will be high at 20 and low at 10. But otherwise the sight is plenty bright. The on/off switch is a bit of a reach but functions as expected. The sight uses two small button type watch batteries to power the laser.

Great little laser
Super simple to attach, and locks positively on to the P22, with no wiggle or loss of zero after firing. For anything out to reasonable range for this weapon, (15 to 20 yards or so), the laser is bright and highly visible, even in direct sunlight. Don't know what folks expect, but for my mind and money, this is perfect for the P22, and well worth a purchase.
