They're okay but they aren't the same as a true Buff
I've paid ridiculous prices for a few Buffs, and since I wear them all the time in the summer, I thought I'd try these as an alternative. These are decent Buff-like wraps, but don't be fooled - they aren't true Buffs. The fabric is thinner and stretchier, meaning they might work better for some purposes but aren't as snug as a real Buff. The prints are also not as high-quality.What really troubled me is that they show you six patterns out of nine they'll send. The other three are a little different. I got the Tribal patterns and one of them has an ad for Osprey all over it, and another is Go Texas (which is convenient since I live in Texas, but was a bit weird). So you might really just get 6 that you really like out of 9.All in all, they'll work for my purposes, but now I know why I treat myself to a real Buff from time to time (and for those, getting the closeouts from REI is the way to go).

Great mulitpack
Since moving to the south, the sun has been relentless. When I began going out to the field for research and recreational fishing, While hats only cover the tops of your head, and face, collared shirts can only come so far up. So these (I keep calling them Buffs because that was the original brand I had purchased) bands are just the perfect thing to accommodate everything else in-between. These are multifunctional, in the sense that they can be used for just about anything relating to head wear/ coverage. This multipack is also fantastic for the simple fact that they are SO much cheaper than the Buff brand. I also think that these stretch much better. This is not to say that the quality of these is outstanding, because after just a couple washes, the edges do seem to be fraying just a bit, but it really is no bother to me at all. The different designs/ patterns are also a great feature to have, especially if you are trying to go for a certain theme. Overall, these are a good quality for the cheap price. Highly recommend these to anyone spending time outdoors for the neck, head, or hair. I tend to use them during the day as a neck protector, and then as a hairband in the evenings.

I really, really wanted to like these, but...
...why are they so SLIPPERY? I wanted these to wear as headbands, going over the tops of my ears, but within seconds of putting one on I can feel it squeegeeing itself backwards. I know if I wear one while doing anything even remotely active, I'll be tugging on it constantly. On the plus side, they are everything the other reviewers say they are...colorful, high quality, and they included an extra one in the package. Maybe I can use them for neck gaiters or something...but that's not what I wanted them for. Color me (verrrrry) disappointed.

Nothing Magical about these,
These are not what I expected at all. These are made of a very thin and flimsy material that is very slippery. I can't keep these on my head in any of the suggested configurations. They also are not very breathable and don't do a great job at keeping sweat under control. It is almost as if they repel the moisture instead of wicking it as something like this should. This makes for a very slippery and sweaty mess. Not sure how this got so many great reviews. The prints are also not all what were pictured. I took a chance, and this time it was a mistake. Not really sure what the heck I will do with these now.

Good, but beware substitutions
Headbands usually slip right off my head (big round head and very slippery hair) but these stay on with no trouble. Kept off the sun a decent amount as well, to the point where there was a sunburned line on my forehead denoting the border between sunscreen and headband. My only complaint is that I ordered one particular pack largely due to one of the patterns (a gift for someone else) and that was the one of the bunch that got substituted with another (frankly, hideous) pattern.

Avoid harmful UV rays without gallons of lotion!
I saw the guys who work at my boat club, and are in the Florida sun all day, wearing these. I decided to try these myself -- much to my wife's amusement -- and they work incredibly well. The pack I purchased contained a variety of colors and designs -- something to fit every outfit (not that I'm some kind of "fashionista").These garments are very flexible and can be worn with greater or lesser amounts of protection according to circumstances. Sometimes you want to look cool and sometimes to want to avoid getting burnt to a crisp!Very happy with the purchase. Terrific value for money and more convenient that constantly slapping on (then washing off in the pool or ocean) an expensive SPF 30+.

I wear one almost every day!
I have two sets of these and I wear one almost every day. I bike commute, powerlift, and walk my dogs, and these are perfect for all activities. I also use them to wrap my hair at night if I'm treating it with oils, and I put one on my dog during a thunderstorm and he was super calm (we call it a Hug for him). You get a bonus wrap with each order. There are only two I never use, but have also considered getting a third set...

Protects your face.
The fishing gaiters at the big brand store cost about the same but you only get one. I'd rather get 9 of these for the same price. They protect my face and my ears from the sun while I'm out kayak fishing. They also keep my cap from flying away on windy days or riding on fast moving boats. I do this by reaching to the back of my neck and pulling the gaiter to the top of my head, over my cap.I wear a 2nd one as a sweat band underneath my cap to keep the sweat out of my eyes. They also make an excellent dusk mask when I'm mowing the yard on windy days.

Great set of sports scarves
Great set of sports scarves. I went for the skull set and the range of designs is impressive. With the pack of nine I can not use one for round my neck and one over my head for cycling in the cold/wet and still have one in my pocket one in my bag...They are quick to dry and can easily be worn around the wrist when things hot up.A great item to have due to the versatility of the product. The quality is good and I have abused two in particular on the bike and they give good warmth and protection and have always washed well.

Perfect and versatile for the price
These have been my saviour in the hot weather and at the gym or just when I want to keep my hair back. I had buff ones previously but they are much more expensive. For the price, these are great. I prefer the fact they are shorter than the buff ones I have as they are not so bulky. Will probably be buying more of these.

Have used this product on a nearly daily basis since purchase, sticking to one so that I could see how they weathered regular use. I've had no misshaping, no tears or snags, and the colour hasn't been affected by the sun or the stretching of the fabric.

Great
As advertised, fit well and do the job. Slightly tight for my liking but still fine to wear. Perfect for the boys though (10-13).

Super value
Great value for money. I paid £14.99 on a different site for just one of these buff headwear. They are super comfy and breathable, so keep you warm if you're feeling chilly or cool when the sun is blazing. I'd definetly buy these again.
