These dvd not compatible with UK players

I am going to have to send back both of the walker dvd collection that I have just bought because they are not compatible with UK dvd players , the company should strongly point this out for customers, these are for U S A region 1 and the UK are region 2 so please be aware when buying dvds, I bought season 1-6 for a Xmas present which was fine and also from a different company as I later found out . So do your homework before you buy.
