Great for beginners
So far so good. Even though I found myself using it more than my 5 year old who this is intended for, it works just like mommy’s big machine and is safe to use with the safety shield. I like the fact that it has a battery operated option just in case an outlet isn’t conveniently located. Made some Barbie clothes with ease and the stitch is fantastic. Once my little one gains confidence in her ability to sew I can see her having years of fun making stuff on her own. Very light weight and sturdy. Only one stitch available from what I can see but that’s just perfect for beginners. Would probably recommend for children 6 and up to adults.

Functional and light weight sewing machine for beginners
I bought this sewing machine for me to do small sewing around the house and do-it-yourself crafts. Last time I bought an iron-on patch to fix my son’s pants, but it didn’t stay on, so I had to hand sew it on. It took me forever to finish it, that’s why I decide to buy this machine. I followed the instruction on the manual to set it up and understand how it works. I think it’s great for a beginner like me. I don’t use it often, so I just need a light weight and compact machine, so it doesn’t take a lot of space for usage and storage. One minor thing which I think they can be improved is the table connect with the sewing machine is not stable. The machine comes with a cover to cover the needle which I think it’s great for safety reason especially when I have kids at home. I think it is reasonable price as well. It’s actually better than I expected.

No easy to use.
Not an easy machine to use and the tension knob is tricky. Wheel knob is very hard to turn. It also doesn't take spools of thread, it sews with 2 bobbin threads one on top and one in the bobbin case. Touch power switch. Foot pedal sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't I do not recommend anyone buy this machine.

Sews well
Sews well. Small and lightweight. I find the turn handle difficult to use - hard to grab the knob.

Cheap made
Not worth the money. Be better off just buy a small cheap used regular sewing machine.

She loved it!
Got this for my granddaughter who is 8 this for Christmas....I have been teaching her how to sew with my Janome full size sewing machine. She wanted a "Real" sewing machine and not a play one...so this machine actually turned out to be absolutely perfect for us! She can make real items and we can continue her sewing lessons on my machine and now on hers as she can follow along right beside me. Loved the guard that can still protect those little fingers as she experiments on her own! Well worth every penny and priceless in creating memories!

All sewn up
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 9 year old granddaughter. She loved it, she was trying to make doll clothes by taping the material together so I thought this would be a great tool for teaching her to sew and allow her to use her creativity. She loved it and her mother said it is a nice sewing machine. So I am sold on it.

Prefect mini size
I am an amature sewer, so wanted this little machine, so discrete, to have for mending. I am very pleased, works good. And moreso, just love that it is so compact, you can tuck it away anywhere. This fits my needs.

Buyer beware, easy to break
I had to return this machine. It worked great for about 5 mins., but then the part that held the bobbin spool quickly broke down.I opened it up (as suggested in the instructions) and found the problem to be related to a sharp metal piece of the bobbin spool holder not being able to pick up the bobbin thread;I tried to fixed it, and it appeared to initially be successful, where turning the knob allowed the bobbin thread to be picked up.However, it was not able to consistently pick up the bobbin thread whenever trying to sew any piece of fabric. (sometimes it picks up, sometimes it doesn't)The instruction booklet was also very unclear, resulting in several hours of trying to figure out whether the problem was with my usage or with the machine itself. The linked youtube video was better, but could not help fix the problem.Perhaps if it was used very carefully out of the box and one has a lot of experience with sewing machines, it could work. For me, after several hours of troubleshooting, I wasn't able to get the sewing machine working properly after it broke down, and so cannot recommend this product.

Much better than expected
It actually works. I removed the safety guard from the needle area, had a decent instruction book, my only complaint was that the power adapter could have a a higher output, as mine struggles to start on the adapter.

Only straight line stitch
The biggest issue with this is the pedal. The pedal is either way too sensitive and goes full speed or it doesn't register being pressed at all and doesn't work.I wouldn't recommend this for kids since the needle could go full speed and injure the child. The machine also only does straight line stiches so I feel you would be better off sewing by hand than learning how to rethread a sewing machine and risking it sewing too far since it is moving at full speed.
