Interesting sweetener for a healthier lifestyle
Being on a healthy eating plan, I decided to give this a try as a potential substitute for brown sugars. It really didn't work for me for that, but I will say that it has a flavor closer to a brown type sugar than most sugar alcohols or other healthier sweeteners. I tried it in a cookie recipe and it worked fine, but I think perhaps this may be an acquired taste, and just not to my personal taste buds' enjoyment.I would encourage you to try it, though, if you are trying to implement healthier eating habits! This may be the one you absolutely fall in love with. It does have Stevia in it, but it doesn't have so much that it crosses over into that bitter territory. One other thing that really makes me wish I liked this more than I do - it is available on Subscribe & Save. If you haven't ever tried that, oh, what are you waiting for? I live out in the country and Subscribe & Save is awesome, but I digress. One last word, this sweetener does have extracts of pumpkin and okra in it - both of which I love - but it tastes like neither of those things. I still have most of a bag of this and plan to give it some time and try it again... who knows, maybe I'll come back and revise my review upwards when I find just the right thing to make with it!NOTE: I am under no obligation to provide a positive review, but only to provide my honest opinion based on my experience with the item. Reviewing quality not value
I love this stuff. I hate the price.I used sucralose for years but having developed a chronic issue, decided to switch sweeteners to see if there was any resolution. After a couple weeks things started getting better. Problem? I DETEST stevia which is why I went to sucralose in the first place. This product actually tastes like sugar, is granulated not powdery yet still dissolves fine in cold liquid. Wouldn't measure it spoon for spoon as its WAY sweet! Like plain erythritol I wouldn't recommend it for chocolate syrup or no-bakes unless, perhaps you add a bit of peppermint (haven't tried but bet it'd make a great cup of peppermint hot chocolate!)For everyday use in my coffee, tea, chicory, whatever, just a pinch of this stuff added to store brand stevia really cuts the nastiness and adds sugary sweetness. If I could afford it, this is the only sweetener I'd use.

Good but expensive.
This stuff is pretty good. It's not sugar, but it is close enough for me. The taste is a different kind of sweet, like honey is a different kind of sweet. I find it has an after taste but it is not objectionable This is the best of the artificial sweeteners I have found. All the others leave such a bad aftertaste that I can't stand it. In the last 3 1/2 months I have lost 35 pounds. I believe that with the use of Natural Mate Sweetener I can continue with my weight lost and reach my goal. The only objection I have to this product is the cost. At over four times the cost of sugar it is a bitter pill to swallow. However, as the song goes, "Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down."

Didn't work well for me, but it's a great product for those who like Stevia.
I didn't like this at all, but this doesn't reflect on the product. I'm a big fan of xylitol and erithitol, but stevia is way to bitter for me. I really wanted to love this product. I was hoping that the mix of stevia and erithritol would help with the bitterness, but it is still overwhelmingly bitter to MY taste buds. I will give the 3 bags to a friend who uses stevia without problems. I didn't give this a bad rating because they sent what they advertised. This was my problem, not the products. We need as many products to help diabetics and people who are trying to make positive changes in their health and this product is an advance forward.

Tastes good with a hint of pumpkin if you eat it straight, but doesn't stand out in baked goods.
This tastes like real sugar, but kind of a cross between light brown sugar and raw sugar. It does have a very slight taste of pumpkin so it goes better in breads/pastries/teas than cereals or coffee. No aftertaste and no chemical taste, but it does have a slight taste of pumpkin seed or pumpkin. Gives dimension to tea and breads. It didn't make me crave more sweets when using it. In fact, having a teaspoon quelled cravings at night and kept me out of my keto chocolate bars.

My favorite low carb sweetener
This is my favorite low carb sweetener. I use it every day and buy it every month on Subscribe and Save. It is the best tasting low carb sweetener I have ever tried, and it doesn't upset my stomach like artificial sweeteners do. I don't know if the pumpkin and okra actually do anything for me, other than make the color a soft beige, which is actually preferable to me over pure white. It might also change the flavor just slightly, because I definitely like this Natural Mate better than the original white one - but who knows, that might be psychological. Anyways, I use it to sweeten my coffee and oatmeal every day. I love that you can use half as much as you would regular sugar. And I love that there is no bitter aftertaste. I have tried alot of low carb sweeteners, and this one is simply the best.

Tastes great, not just "okay"
Yes, it's a tad pricey, but well worth it!! This sweetener tastes.. really... good! There is NO funky bitter after taste. It melts on the tongue like sugar, is sweet but not overly sweet. Supposedly it has twice the sweetness of sugar...I'd say more like 1 and 1/2. The pumpkin-okra does not have a taste--is indiscernible from "plain" and has some modest health benefits. I tell everyone about this product. Whether you're diabetic, or wanting to lose weight or reduce carbs--or eating more healthy, I highly recommend use of this product.

Been using it for a few months now, and this is my go to. No bitter aftertaste that you'd get with plain stevia alone. You also use less because it's just that sweet. I put two TSP in my coffee or tea. 1/3 a cup for a 2 qt pitcher of kool aid. That's all you need, really. It's great in desserts like cheesecake and brownies, too. I liked it so much, I put it on sub & save so I never run out!
