Good, long lasting battery for my Cannon SXH60 camera.

We'll be doing a lot of traveling, so needed a few extra batteries. This kit is perfect. I'm using it for an SH50 HS and it seems to work great. The batteries are higher capacity than the factory Canon battery. The charger seems to work fine with the Canon battery as well, so I'll probably carry it, instead of the Canon charger. It also comes with a 12V car adapter, which gives it even more versatility. The charger has a tri-state LED that shows red when charging, orange when nearly charged, and green when fully charged. Charge time seems to be very good. I think I'll be very happy with this.

Used the Wasabi battery packs with the Canon charger. Works well.

I have used Vivitar replacement batteries in the past and they never got HALF of the life the Canon-branded batteries got that came with my Canon Powershot SX50 HS. I read a great review of the Wasabi battery so decided they were the way to go since I could get 2 batteries and a charger for about the same price as one Canon-branded battery. I received the Wasabi batteries yesterday morning, charged them up on my Canon battery charger, then took off on a photo shoot. I took about 65% of my photos without using the flash but the rest of them, I did. That's way more flash use than I normally do. I ended up getting 385 photos before the "low battery" icon started flashing. Then, got another 20 before the camera turned itself off. I'm buy these from now on.

Don't waste your money on these batteries. They do NOT perform well. I ordered the kit (batteries plus charger) for a 2+ month trip to SE Asia in Jan.-March 2015 as the original 1 1/2 yr. old Canon battery for my Powershot G15 was beginning to slow. Incredibly, the older Canon battery recharged and held its charge far longer than either of the new Wasabi batteries. During the trip I was constantly having to switch out the 3 batteries (original Canon plus the 2 Wasabis) and charging all 3 every night. After just one year of limited use (I used my Canon for the trip but not much since), the Wasabi batteries are useless. Both had lost so much of their charge during a recent 2-hr. period that they were SLOW to operate the shutter and a lot of pictures were ruined. And this was at my son's wedding and only the first part of the reception, so I was NOT pleased. I ended up switching to my iPhone camera. The only redeeming part of the purchase is I still have an extra charger. And BTW, I'd ordered the batteries just a year previously (Dec. 14, 2014). Either go with the outrageously over-priced but reliable Canon battery or the Vivitar brand if you want to have consistency and/or not ruin your pictures.

Good deal on batteries and charger. The car charger cable is VERY cheap. I just hope it lasts. That is one of the main reasons I purchased this item. The cord is the actual size as the photo in the add but the thickness of the cable seems thinner than the photo. Not impressed with the quality of this product.

When I was looking for extra batteries for my Canon Powershot G15, I found these batteries from Wasabi. I ordered them without hesitation, and without really looking at the reviews. I have past experience with Wasabi batteries in another digital camera, which uses 3.7 VDC batteries. Those batteries have never failed to provide all the power I need. And these batteries are just 2 of the 3.7s sandwiched together. So far, these are performing admirably, and charge quickly. These are rated at 1300mAh, whereas the Canon battery is only 920 mAh, about 40% extra capacity. The charger can also be used with the Canon battery, and has the added feature of a car charger plug if you need to charge on the go.
