Overall excellent jacket.
Super nice jacket. For me, it's very warm, and yet keeps you cool as well. I'm always cold, and generally wear a hooded sweatshirt under my jacket. With this one, I've not needed one. We'll see when we get some sub-freezing temperatures again, as I'm in California, and the lows have been mostly mid to higher 30s lately in my area. I'm pretty sure it will be fine as the bottom stays snug against you, keeping the drafts out. The sleeves do as well, and I love that the canvas extends below the cuff, hiding it. The hood is nice and large, drawstring will tighten it to the point it looks like a ski mask, and when zipped up fully, the neckline is nice and snug. Ample pocket space, but can't use the outer pockets for a cellphone without it standing, risking it falling out. Inside pockets are zippered on the left and velcro patch in middle of right. Left can close with my s24+ inside, but in right pocket, it fits, but blocks the velcro. Small details in my opinion, but may matter to some. As for the zipper, it's metal(looks like brass), and feels like it's robust enough that it will last the life of the jacket. Overall, excellent quality as always.

Good Jacket
One of the best jackets I've ever owner. I went skiing with this as my outer layer and it was flawless, which is certainly not the use they had in mind for it, but is a testament to how durable, warm, and weatherproof this jacket can be. The waterproofing and weatherproofing are great, but it doesn't turn into a sauna and you can wear it almost into the summer. It isn't built like an heirloom item though, I'll say that. At least a couple threads started coming out within a a year, but I wore it a lot. I would highly recommend this jacket though all things considered and I still wear it.

Must Buy for a High Quality and Affordable Winter Jacket
The media could not be loaded. This jacket is one of my best purchases ever. I got recommended to it by my friend’s dad who had the same jacket (J-130) for over 25 years. I can tell why it held up for so long. This jacket is perfect for work in the cold or just for styling your outfits (I know you kind of people exist). The fabric this is made of is absolutely astounding and the stitching matches that as well. Along with that, there’s so many features that aren’t advertised on here like the inside zipper pockets and pen holder built into the right side hand pocket. The design of the cuffs allow for a perfect fit with any winter style/skiing glove. The part that absolutely sold me on this jacket was the zipper though. Typically Carhartt kind of misses on their zippers in my experience (especially with their backpacks and lunchboxes) but this one is very high quality. The one downside I can think of this jacket is the plastic aglets (the things on the end of the hood drawstring). Other than that, this jacket is perfect and 100% worth the $130 price tag.

Love carhartt!
Love Carhartt items. Always durable and quality is always there. Lining of the jacket is soft and comfortable. This jacket is more lightweight than others I feel but still keeps you warm.

BEST JACKET EVER MADE.
im 5'7, 175 lbs. lean/muscular build, broad shoulders. the medium regular fits perfectly. i like to rotate between this one and Carhartt's Sherpa-Lined Utility JacketCarhartt has 2 different size types. LOOSE FIT and RELAXED FIT.LOOSE FIT = go a size down: if you normally wear large, get the mediumRELAXED FIT = get your normal size

It's good.
Fits perfectly fine even with or without hoodie so it's great to layer it with something. Very warm and comfortable.Only problem I have is i asked for size L (Loose Fit) and got sent M (Loose Fit) although the sticker on arm says L (regular fit). I'm not sure if that's how they size it up in Carhartt or is it just Amazon not caring enough and sending people the wrong item.I couldn't decide if I wanted to order L or M so it worked out great at the end for me but keep in mind they may or may not send you wrong size.

Great jacket
I'm 5'11 and 220 lbs. I wanted it to fit more normal rather than fitting than loose. I ordered a Large when I normally wear a XL. This is pretty good and if I really wanted to I probably could layer a sweater easily if I wanted. If you want something to fit like a normal jacket go down a size if you want a ton of room for layers pick your normal size. Overall I love this jacket and I can't wait to use it for the years to come.
