Great countertop coating
Excellent countertop coating. I've used another product in the past and it wasn't very resilient to stains and you had to be cautious about using cleaning chemicals. I wet sanded off the old coating and used two coats of this, allowing to cure for 7 days. It looks great I don't worry about it at all.

Looks and feels like glass
Cures very quickly. I used a small foam roller to spread a total of two coats on a concrete vanity countertop. My first coat was too thick, and I had bubbles. After curing, I used some fine diamond sanding disks to open the buble. Cleaned well. And layed the second coat. The product hardens in 20min. It took about a week to get completely hard. It looks and feels like glass. It doesn't seem to scratch. So far a year of everyday use.Make sure to wear respirator safe from VOCs. When mixing, use a solvent resistant cup (a glass jar works well). Mix longer than you think is necessary. Work quickly. It takes a week to fully harden and resist scratches.

The product worked out great. We originally tried Tuff Duck acrylic concrete sealer and it was horrible. It chipped super easy even well after 7 layers and it was fully cured. This lead to issues with water getting into the concrete itself. We sanded that off and used 2 coats of this product and it's hard as a rock and not easily scratched. It can definitely stand up to everyday use. The only issue I found was that the instructions on the can did not match what was on the Surecrete website. The can said to use a 4:1 ratio of the two chemicals instead of the 3:1 listed on the website. Other information was incorrect or unmentioned on the can vs the website such as sanding and wait times. Also it does say low VOC but when you apply it you better have good ventilation as it is very strong with a number of health warnings listed in the documentation relating to the vapors. Other than that I didn't have any problems with it. I would definitely use it again.

Darkens and bubbles
This product needs to put some useful info on the cans about use and to not use it unless you want your countertops dark and bumpy. This went on easily but we were working in the dark about what to use to apply it, we used a small roller for stains. It darkened my countertops greatly and added texture in the form of bumps all over. It was nice and glossy but absolutely not what I expected! We had to sand it all off and it didn't completely come off, you could see the remains of the bumps even though it felt smooth. After all that we had to get someone in a great expense to try to fix the mess! Don't do it!

Follow the directions and expect a bit of darkening.
Went on as as described. I used a 3:1 mix and a foam roller. Prepped area by cleaning, then wiping off with acetone.Make sure to vent the area. When it cures it does darken the concrete some but it is exactly what we wanted. I will follow up with durability as well. One thing to know though is that for each coat of this 38"x70"x2" countertop took 90 ml of part A and 30 ml part B

Good product but really bad packaging
Impossible to open can so had to waste more than half of it. The enclosed paint can opener bent straight. Screwdrivers would not work so had to punch holes in it with old beer can opener. Absolutely no instructions included at all, not on can nor on separate sheet. If you have to ask. . . . ????

Very easy to apply
I used this on my polished concrete barbecue. I am really happy with the results. It easily covered my 90 square feet. I used 2 coats.
