Cool
This is my 1st endeavor in the Android world, but have dabbled in linux on & off years now. I have nothing to compare this to but I read reviews for quite awhile and knew i did not want to spend much, $ nor did I want to have to spend time on youtube looking at the odd how-to or hours of forums (unrelated though high in search results).I skimmed the inclosed material turned it on and never looked back. I got the warranty because I found that extra protection is often essential (for me) when it comes to mobile devices. I have am also aware that durability is often the trade off for affordable or newer technology, but this seems well built. I was not looking to replace my laptop, but not having a smartphone and producing media lead me to realize I needed something. The average audience is always changing, but the "micro-screen" is on par to compete with the "small screen", and I was on the outside. No problems with any apps I've tried, response is quick and headphones make watching Netflix a joy, with the little ones running about screaming, (and my wife hates the horror flicks) I no longer have to wait till the wee hours to do so lol. I test video and audio on it just to try keep things "in perspective", we strive to keep our media quality consistent as possible and this was a worth while introduction.I short, we needed cheap, reliable, and easy use, this was a good choice.

It was great for the first 3 months!!!!!!!
When I first got the tablet, I can honestly say that it was great. I bought it for a Christmas gift for my 7 year old and 4 year old in December. By February, one of the chargers just stopped working, which I didn't mind because I could still use the other charger to charge both. Around March, one of the tablets just randomly blacks out. Within 1 hour, it has cut off atleast 5 times and it is very frustrating because I will have to end up purchasing another tablet after only 3 months.

nice tablet
It is easy to use. Battery holds up good, can play games for hours. I would recommend it to my friends.

Wouldn't recommend this tablet for anyone who thinks has a chance might drop at all not durable for even one small drop
I only got to use this tablet like twice I accidentally dropped it wasn't a major drop but it cracked whole screen and the pic went out immediately . So not very durable at all. Can't really rate anything else about it because didn't really get use.

Very good tablet but it has scratches on the back.
I purchased two refurbished tablets, one from here and the other from KMart. The one from KMart is a Sero 7 Pro and it looks and works absolutely as new. The one from here has several very visible scratches on the back and it is obvious that the case was not replaced during refurbishment. I will have a case for it so only the screen will be seen. The glass display however is definitely new with its protector. The tablet itself is a five stars product, it has a great hd display, HDMI, it is fast and can handle professional audio software as Audio Evolution which interfaces with the Zoom h4 via otg usb cable. It can read and write to usb memory stick with the unmodified operating system and wife connection is fast and stable. It charges perfectly and battery life is very good. One thing, any thing that has a glass display and mini connectors as moni usb is going to be fragile. Treat it with care or you will brake the usb port! Be aware and careful when you insert the usb charging plug, if you force it in the wrong way it will brake the port and then you will no longer be able to change your tablet!OK, so if you are not too picky about cosmetics then the refurbished tablet will work for you as it does work as new.It does have a refurbished sticker on it but I have purchased several refurbished items and none had but scratches and the overall looked as new.

Answered my question
Was a little leery of a refurbed unit. It has, in the few days of using it, performed fine for me. Appreciate having it for my specific intended use. It will make a nice difference in studying and assisting others with a variety of media viewing when I am in the field.

Perfect as a light duty tablet
Upon using Hisense tablet, you can tell the build quality is actually pretty good. It is sturdy and well put together. Personally, I use it as an in-car video viewer for the kids. The 7" size is also perfect to holster on the back seat. The only con is that it didn't come with bluetooth. Otherwise, all expectations were met for a sub-$80 tablet. We just use it for videos and YouTube and the speed is quick enough for those tasks. There was not any lag at all.
