I purchased this to protect my backpack when walking to school in the rain. It did it’s job for the most part and kept all my notebooks and stuff dry. Occasionally the water would get through but it was in very small amounts.Pros:- Lightweight- Easy to carry around- Keeps my stuff dryCons:- Cheap material- Easy to rip- Sometimes leaks

Cannot put much weight in it, otherwise the seam comes apart. I used 2, and both now have duct tape and extra stitches.Good size, light weight.

So I will say that I haven't yet actually taken this out into the rain, but I did some tests and it seems to do just as a good a job as any other rain cover. However, I am pleased that the size of the cover fits my needs perfectly. It's quite a simple product, but I will say that the elastic is fine and it will stay on my Peak Design everyday backpack without any trouble as others have said. I have the 20L version, which did not come with a rain cover, so if you need one for it, this one works great. I also wanted a little bit of extra room since I usually have either my gimbal (zhiyun crane) or another small tripod in the exterior pocket of my bag. If you take a look at the pictures, you can see that both fit great. I highly recommend this rain cover if you have the 20L everyday backpack.

Got one of these after I found out that my backpack was not as water repellent as I had originally thought. I initially stopped by REI to see what they had for rain covers, but the cheapest one was $20. After seeing that, I checked here on Amazon and found that there were quite a few at considerably cheaper prices. I chose this one because it is simple and doesn't have any logos on it. At $8, its a good deal in my opinion and fits my bag perfectly, so now I just keep it in one of the pockets just in case I need it. I'll be getting another one for my other backpack as well.

Decent quality and easy to use, but it really only covers your backpack if it has a very specific shape, otherwise the top slides down and it will only cover half your bag and look really silly. I tried using it for the first time today and the top half of my bag got soaked but at least the parts that were covered were dry. Im probably going to sew something to keep it connected to the top, like maybe a strap going from top to bottom on the part that touches your back to keep it from sliding down.

Worked great with my Northface Terra 50L and held up for months of backpacking. Both as a dust cover and as a raincover.Note: I was on a trek in New Zealand, hiking for hours as it poured. Even though I had the cover on my backpack (mostly the bottom) got soaking wet. Apparently water will drip off your back and get into the bag from the part not covered by the rain cover. If you are expecting it to pour the trick is to buy a inner waterproof bag to put all your stuff in or to buy one of those big ponchos that cover both you AND your bag. But this rain cover worked for what it was for.

Ordered product based on pictures. Yellow picture with a description as Gold. Its definitely not as what is on the picture, we dont like the received color at all and we are not going to use it. Not sure how the other offered colors match what you will receive. Because of this we recommend you to order a different product where you actually know what you are buying.Update: we got a replacement in a different color which we like so adding stars and leaving at 4 because the yellow picture still does not match the real color gold.

I purchased this rain cover for my backpack during the heavy rains and flooding in the Midwest this summer, and I was glad that I did. It did the job in keeping my back pack and all of its contents inside nice and dry in the pouring rain. It folds up nicely and can be put into a pocket in the backpack when I don't need to use it, and it held up very well. No more damp textbooks and computer!
