Thin
I bought this liner because I thought it would be easy to clean but the ridges actually make it harder. Also, it's a little thinner than I thought it would be but so far has not caused any issues. Next time I will try a cork liner as I heard it works very well, is thick and easy to clean.

Good shelf liner
I prefer to use this shelf liner under bathroom cabinets. It's sturdy & clans up easily. It's a bit slick, so items slide out easily, but you do want to tack it down, some way, probably. I prefer this type over the adhesive type that is such a PITA to remove if/when you want to change it out.

Good product but expensive
I tried this first for kitchen pantry shelf liners. I could just cover only 3 shelf. Then purchased plastomat found that plasto mat is cheaper and is better in quality. Please see my review in plasto mat.

Good product!
Over my lifetime shelf liners have improved exponentially. I redid my kitchen shelves and drawers in a day (and I have many) because the ribbed construction allows fast cutting in the length-wise direction. It is not flimsy, so you can wipe it off or run water over it to clean it with no problem. The width of these rolls covers two of my shelves or one of my drawers so I had little waste during installation.

It bunches up in drawers BIG TIME
I bought a large quantity of this stuff at Costco about 3 years ago, and for the most part I totally regret the purchase. I originally purchased it because it was the only kind I could find where I could see through the liner -- and since I had a brand new kitchen with beautiful wood drawers, I wanted to protect them from moisture but also preferred to see the wood. I also didn't want whatever I bought to leave a sticky residue behind, and that's why I thought the non-adhesive liner was the way to go. Well, that was the plan, anyway. Here are my problems with the product:1) If you use this in drawers, it just slips all over the place. Ribbed side up, ribbed side down, it doesn't matter. In a cabinet, it doesn't really move much, but in a drawer that pulls out? Probably slips at least an inch every time you pull out the drawer. You can imagine, I have bunches of this stuff piling up constantly toward the back of the drawers.2) The ribbing gets dirty, and isn't the easiest to clean. I notice this all the time in my garbage pullout drawer. What a pain.3) The 18 inch depth left 2 inches uncovered at the back of every drawer. Since most counters are 24" deep, it would follow that most drawers are 20" like mine -- what were they thinking?? This probably contributed to the slippage problem above. But hope springs eternal. I plan to buy the Duck Brand grippy type liner, 20" wide, this time around: Duck Brand 281873 Non-Adhesive Smooth Top Easy Grip Shelf Liner, 20-Inch x 24-Feet, Taupe I won't be able to see the wood through it, but hopefully it will stay put.

looks clean
Easy to cut and fit, sometimes it curls up as I am laying on the shelf, so I use a hair dryer to soften it and then it lays nice and flat. It looks clean on the shelf.

Awful
Con-Tact has discontinued my preferred product - a light adhesive adjustable product with no paper backing that is easy to readjust. If you lay it down wrong it is very easy to pull up when the time comes to replace it with clean new liner. I loved the one with the rose pattern -- made for very easy cutting if you followed the line of the roses.I found this very hard to handle. They say you should fold it back and forth to soften the grid tear lines, but it is very hard to keep folding back and forth without losing the place where you want to tear it apart. I did not find it any easier using a ruler as recommended. The liner was ripping up in all kinds of unwanted places.Con-Tact, please bring back the old product.
