Perfect for my 10 year old son and the rest of the family. This clay bakes up nice. Can be a bit fragile with thinner extended pieces after baking but that is typical with clay when your 10 year old thinks it is now an action figure. The clay will not harden enough to do dragon battles so keep that in mind. Finished pieces will be great to put on a shelf or wear as jewelry.We have had hours of fun, crafty family time with this set. It comes with some great plastic tools and some metal pieces for jewelry, keychains and more.There are lots of colors. Some will leave color on your hands but will wash off easily. I do not recommend working with it while wearing white or while sitting on your mom’s white couch though. So if color transfer is something that would be an issue just be aware of this.The clay is easy to use and very pliable. It’s a great amount for the price and it has a great plastic carrying case for easy storage.

Good quality, easy to use, and comes with a lot of cool items for designing. The other issue I had was it was a little smaller than I thought. But I still use it for hobbies and it’s good for young and old. I’d recommend it, but look more at the sizes you get. Very vibrant colors as well. Happy with it.

I love the selection of colors in this kit. This clay is soft and doesn't require much conditioning. The colors stay fairly bright after curing (baking) but the clay remains 'spongy', soft, and a bit brittle after being baked at the manufacturer-suggested temperature and time. This clay won't work well for thin flat pieces or small beads, especially for jewelry which is designed to take some abuse from the simple act of wearing the piece.But it should be fine for thicker pieces and large beads. Overall, this is a great clay for beginners and perfect for clay figurines, sculptors, and thick jewelry pieces.

The kit is fun and includes lots of important pieces for jewelry making. The clay is hard at first but softens easily when you put it in your hands. The size of the kit was as expected per the price and the clay did not dry out quickly which was great. Certain colors of clay were unfortunately very sticky and took a lot longer to prepare for use so be prepared for that
