The quick-change rollers have a pair of ball bearings and are not designed to lock to prevent rotation. However, you can still do a pin-and-stretch technique by squeezing the handles to apply pressure to the target location, and then just hold them still while doing the desired stretch movement. In most cases the rollers will remain stationary (won't roll) for that specific technique.
