This would have been a home run product if not for leaving half of the consumer population unable to use these comfortably by not factoring in a standard size oven mit. I am a big guy and a chef at heart. These things were only designed for small and or skinny people. If you would have made the sleeve a standard width and the mit itself a bit larger, or offer an x-large size this would have been a home run. I love the design and intention. Hate the fit.

Hello! I ordered these silicone hot mits for multiple purposes! One major reason is that I multitask in the kitchen and I am ambidextrous and mitts fit on either hand giving me an excellent grip on all that is HOT! The mits arrived as shown on Amazon. I use them for both cast iron skillets and pots either on my gas cooktop or from my oven. Even more importantly removing item's from my Instapot which is very important! It is easy to get a steam burn using an Instapot. Too the mits fit both my Husband and Son! They are long covering my hands and forearms as well as the rest of the Families. I am thus far very satisfied with my overall purchase and the price of my mits. Thank you for reading. I hope I was of some assistance. These are fantastic. After years of settling for dirty cloth type mitts, I decided to spring for some synthetic (was it neoprene?) rubber-like material that were $25 EACH. Within months, those would get little tears in the stitching, and I would burn my fingers. Since they were so expensive, I kept re-sewing them and re-using them, and re-burning my hands. Finally got fed up, and found these. Well--they are SO GREAT! they fit like a glove (pun intended) and are even comfortable. I can pick up a cookie sheet by the edge, with no threat of disaster. They are really flexible. The mitts run pretty high up my arm, so there is no need to be extra-diligent when taking things out of the oven. I even love the way the color matches my kitchen decor. I researched and read tons of reviews on many mitts (I'm kind of sick that way), and am thrilled with these. I don't write reviews on Amazon very often, but felt compelled to write this one. I also think they were a terrific value, and loved the packaging! Who goes to so much trouble to place oven mitts in a nice box? I recommend this product with absolutely no reservations whatsoever.

We sent these back. They were 1) way too ungainly. IT was so difficult to actually grab on to any pot or pan. Extremely inflexible and slippery.

Will never use cloth oven mitts again. Rather than running from the oven carrying hot items, with these silicone mitts I can hold the hot item while making a phone call or doing my taxes. Seriously, they keep the heat out so no fear about taking the hottest items out of the oven.They are rather large, they are not pretty, but man they work!! Highly recommended.

So far, I really like these! They are longer and sturdier than your average hand mitts. I appreciate that there is a right mitt and a left mitt...not just 2 identical mitts that leave you to just flip one backwards. I used them today to get a hot cast iron skillet that held roasting chicken for 90 minutes. I didn't feel any heat through the mitts! I was a little nervous about trying silicone vs a traditional mitt, but I'm happy that I took a chance. Silimitts are well made, and came well packaged. Just what I was looking for!

Really good quality oven mitts that really protect the person wearing them. My girlfriend used to use some cheap oven mitts that weren't long enough and she accidently burnt herself. After I bought these and she used them for the first time, she was extremely happy to feel safe using the oven again. When I put them on, I was surprised by how comfortable they were and how easy it was to slip them on and off. We could barely feel the heat through the mitts when we were handling anything fresh out if the oven. I would recommend these mitts to my friends and family if they were looking for a new pair.

The gloves are beautifully made and I can understand all the 5 star reviews. But for me, they are a disappointment because of the fit. They are hard for me to get on over my hands, and once I do, the proportions don't work so my mobility is limited. My fingers fill up the main part of the glove before my thumb is anywhere near the thumb of the glove. If I jam my hand in so my thumb is in place, my fingers are scrunched together, and the cut for the thumb is too high.I did notice that one review mentioned how bulky they were because the reviewer had small hands, and I recognize that there's no such thing as "one size fits all". But it would be helpful if the description gave some size guidelines -For the record, I'm a man, 6' tall, 200# with what I've always believed to be average sized hands.

I never thought I would be writing a review on oven gloves - ever! However during lockdown I started baking sourdough and using a cast iron skillet at 260 degrees was an issue for our existing ones. They did not give heat protection and started smoking! This ones are great - good grip with the silicone, no heat transmission through the glove and wipe down clean is so easy. Good length to protect lower forearm too and comfy lining inside. At this price they are a steal. 4* for durability only because it's too early to say, otherwise 5* all the way.

The gloves definitely keep the heat out - I don't feel any heat transmission through them when moving items into or out of the oven. And the non-slip grip is almost too effective, as I sometimes can't let go of baking trays once I have placed them on the oven shelf, but this is partly owing to the reduced dexterity while wearing the gloves - they're a little clumsy at times. But I bought them to protect my hands from heat and they do that 100%!

Comfortable to wear, easy to clean and generally seem to weather well. A definite step up from material gloves.

This product is well constructed, quality feels good and thermal insulation is outstanding. I can grab the hottest of items from the oven without fear!

These were far too big for a standard size hand. This makes them difficult to use.
