Came in on time and was what I expected just wasn't enough for a 16ft trampoline

I truly don’t know if the problem is somehow my trampoline or the springs. We bought a very large, square trampoline from Sam’s Club 18 months ago, thinking it was time to spend the money and do it right since our kids are always on the trampoline. It has been nothing but problems (came with a hole in the jump pad), in defense of these springs. We had to start replacing new springs within the first year. This is the third set I have bought, and even these springs stretch out within the first few weeks of use and eventually fall off. I’m very disappointed that I have spent $90 on springs and our issue is still unresolved. They last for a short while, then appear stretched out and useless; and eventually fall off on their own while the kids are jumping. Super frustrating process for us.

Purchased a fairly “cheap” trampoline from RUNNINGS in NY. Currently this is the start of its 3rd spring season. During the first part of 2nd year usage original springs started to break. I BREAK IT DOWN FOR STORAGE IN THE WINTER. There were a few injuries, even the face. LUCKILY THERE WAS NO EYEBALL CONTACT, but very close! I ordered my first set of 24 springs come the start of the trampolines 2nd season. Then another order of springs was needed, the originals were “popping” like balloons. All new springs by end of summer, 72 of them. No problems ever since. So far none of these springs have failed. Hope it stays that way!!

These are solid springs and they were easy to install. The only recommendation that I’d have is to make the handles on the tool have some kind of grip instead of it being painted metal. It was far to easy for my hand to slip off the tool when pulling the springs for installation, especially when my hands got a little sweaty during install. Nobody wants a spring to slip off when they’re pulling it for install and it come flying at them.
