Dataproducts DPC88BXL High Yield Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP #88XL (C9396AN) (Black)

I just began using the cartridge, and so far I am delighted with its performance - the ink doesn't miss, and my documents are printing perfectly every word legibly reproduced. I have my fingers crossed this will continue throughout its use...LATER...AFTER USING A BIT...I am quite annoyed by the fact I am asked to do reviews before I really have an opportunity to test a product - this was one of those times. While the product appeared effective initially, that soon expired, and I found the items missing type and fluctuating between good legible type and barely visible type. I was required to darken the script via my printer to accommodate this, which was a bit better, but still legibility and missing letters issues. I contacted Amazon and was advised not to return the 2 items, but they would be replaced. They were, but I was charged for the replacements. I find this entire situation reprehensible, since I have spent an inordinate amount of time following company instructions attempting to correct the problem, WITHOUT success! As an 80 year old, my time is EXTREMELY precious to me, and I will NOT be purchasing ANY items from Dataproducts via Amazon in the future. Further, I expect a refund to my Amazon card immediately, since I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay for ANY defective items, particularly for situations occurring through no fault of my own. If you, Amazon, will change your mind and wish these items returned, please forward a complimentary label for me to do so. You will then have the opportunity to review these defective cartridges for yourselves, without relying upon my word...Anna Young

The cartridge prints fine when it prints. The problem is that my HP Officejet Pro L7680 All-in-One printer tells me that the cartridge is empty and needs to be replaced every time I go to print something. To get it to print each time I have take out the cartridge and reinsert it. If that doesn’t bother you I suppose this cartridge would be fine. I have purchased other third party cartridges and only get a message once when turning the printer on saying it is a non-HP and using it void the warranty which elapsed years ago.

This product did exactly what it states. I installed one black, one color cartridge into our Dell 965 and it printed great. I will definitely get my ink from these guys, bar none. I'm thinking about trying it on my Brother laser printer. The last ones I tried were not compatible at all, but this brand might be. Will be back for an update. Excellent replacement cartridges for any printer.

Can't get Dell INK anymore. This is a good replacement for my old dell printer. Have use dataproducts before at work and have been very satisfied with their quality at a good and fair price.

Quality of ink is great! I would have rated this a 5, but my Dell AIO printer 946 doesn't seem to recognize this cartridge as full. According to my printer, I am out of black ink. Any recommendations? Thank you.

What can you say about a cheaper version of any HP ink. If it works it's all glory halleluiah, if not well you aren't out that much money. Dataproducts DPC727A Remanufactured Ink Cartridges, are part of the halleluiah category. I haven't come across any dogs with their product, in the year that I have been purchasing their products. Other companies that shall remain nameless, well they sort of suck but this company does well and at a price that if HP would emulate, it would make the world a better place.

Plugged it in to my HP Deskjet 3650, printed a test page: No streaking, good color saturation. We'll see if it lasts as long as OEM cartridge, but for now, no complaints whatsoever.Update: After refilling a couple of times, it is now triggering a flashing light on my printer. When I swap out a new oem cartridge, the light stops flashing. Could be the printer doesn't allow repeated use of the same cartridge? Or maybe there's a chip in the printer or cartridge that limits repeated use? Just FYI.

I was a little worried b/c some reviews on these remanufactured cartridges say they don't do well after they sit awhile. When I received this, I wasn't quite ready to use it so it had to sit for a couple weeks. Popped it in a few days ago and it works fine so far, just like any other ink cartridge. At this point I have only used it about four times. I'll update this review if it doesn't seem to last long, but so far, it's just fine.
