This mug keeps a cup of coffee warm within a reasonable (italics) amount of time. If it takes you longer than 30-45 min to consume a cup of coffee (and why would it??), and you're expecting this mug (or any insulated MUG on the market) to keep your beverage warm for longer than it takes a normal human to consume a cup, you are better off looking at purchasing a thermos. However, this style of mug is a marked improvement over a standard ceramic mug with no lid, and it is much more durable than ceramic and will likely last years if taken care of.The complaint I have (but not docking stars) with this mug, and any insulated mug on the market for that matter, is the lid. The lid imo is the most important piece in any insulated drinking vessel. This mug's lid is better than the ones on the insanely over-priced brand mugs you may find at REI, etc- you know the ones.Pros: this lid has a sliding cover that covers the mouth-hole, which is nice as it helps retain some of the heat from escaping the mug, and aids in keeping the beverage warm longer. It also does provide some spill-resistance (italics), but not spill-proof. I also like the color options- I chose white.Cons: the lid is not designed in a way to maximize insulation (same with any insulated mug I have come across)- lids should also be insulated for obvious reasons. Also, this mug's lid does not screw into the mug, which if it did, would be nice as an added measure of security in case it were knocked-over, but it's not necessary 99% of the time.All-in-all, I am happy with this purchase and personally find more utility with this mug vs a standard ceramic mug.Cheers ☕️

I love this cup so much. It's beautiful! This cup is pretty leak proof. I wouldn't turn it upside down and shake it, but if it tips over while closed, it should be fine. (The cup that is upside down in that picture had water and ice in it.)It does keep things cold longer than hot. My tea will stay warm for about 3 hours if I used boiling water. My coffee from the keurig stays warm for about 1.5 hours. Ice water or anything with ice will stay cold 5+ hours.As far as cleaning goes, it's pretty easy. The cup is super easy to clean, but the lid can sometimes get residue stuck underneath, but I just make sure to soak it in warm soapy water when it does happen. (I put a picture of it above.)

I purchased the purple 12 oz cup. It is a perfect size for a cup of coffee or tea. It keeps your drink super hot, like you need to let the lid of for it to cool down if the drink is already super hot because it really does trap the heat for hours. I purchased this cup because other mugs had those really complex lids that you never really knew if they were clean or not because you couldnt see inside of them. This lid is clear. When you wash it, you will see the soap under the little slider. You have to rinse it, and move the slider back and forth to get enough water in there to clean the soap out.... It sounds like a pain but you will be able to SEE that is clean and there is no more soap in it. My other mugs... the coffee started to taste funny after a while and seeing how this one get soaps trapped... I be the others did too. This cup is beautiful AND healthier for you.

I've had this mug for a while now, and while I used it I loved it, especially because for the color and price point. I like that the little black slider on the cap is detachable so I can clean up the gunk around it, but be careful not to leave it lying around! I lost mine.I'm not the biggest fan of the handle design, but I can't complain much. My biggest reason for having this mug was to prevent spills and to protect my tables from heat damage. The mug did both.Also, it is easy to clean!

I purchased this for my husband as after his favorite finally gave out, he saw this and mentioned it had a great feature which is the slide slit top to drink from. He is hard to please when it comes to his coffee cups so I jumped on AMAZON and ordered it. He is very pleased. It is light yet keeps the coffee hot, stainless steel and just the right size, Overall it is a hit for him and easy for me to clean I gave it 4 stars on cleaning as if anyone that has one of these could let me know how to clean the slit on the top (underneath) please comment. I can't seems to get it completely clean. After looking in stores you cannot beat AMAZON'S price.UPDATE: After contacting the company through Amazon the little slide tab does come off for cleaning. It is not easy but it does come off. Pop it off by pressing the tab under it (very small dot pin head size) clean and snap back on.

Besides beautiful, this mug does exactly what it supposed to do. It keeps my coffee hot for more time, even though my table is located in an area where a chill wind passes through often. I even bought it because that wind used to cold my coffee super quickly when I used a porcelain mug. This mug is also leak-proof, I've tested many times. My only complaint is about the lid. It has a small black piece that slides to lock and open the straw hole and, in my opinion, it's not easy to clean this piece up once it's not removable. Despite that, in general, I still think this is a great mug, looks durable, and in addition, I loved the color. I chose green Tiffany, in person the color is so much more beautiful.

FINALLY found a good one! Very nice look (in fact I bought another in a different color). Nice TIGHT lid and it keeps our coffee hot! I really got this for my husband who nods off in his chair with a beverage in his hand. Even if the "sippy" part isn't closed, there is much less spillage than with other cups. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
