Size will easily hold a large cat or small dog. Light weight, nice quality, and very easy to put together.Note: The lock hinges (x5) have a hinge gate on the inside of the lock piece that needs to be pulled down in order to insert the lock onto the carrier. The directions don't mention this and you will pull your hair out trying to figure out why the lock won't click into place.

Bought 2 to travel 2 cats for 8 hour car ride. Seemed they were comfortable. Had a fender bender when almost at destination. The cages stayed stable, cats unharmed. Unlike bruised me.

This 24" cage is so roommy for my 9lb Maltese. it's a little big for him so you can go by 22" one.it's very easy to assemble and very sturdy and safe.PERFECT!!!!

Overall, really great. Easy to put together. Feels a little flimsy but it made it through the last first flight with my big kitty. He hated it, of course, but didn't seem to do any damage. Went through TSA perfectly.

A great sturdy carrier my one complaint is that it does not adhere to airline carry on measurements. Aside from that however it is a good size and a sturdy carrier.

Got two of these. Worked well for transporting my cats cross country in a car for two days. Got the larger size which is good for one large cat. Recommend buying a pad or something similar to make it more comfortable for your pat. One fastener area on one of the carriers was broken when it was delivered but still worked well.
