Amazing! Absolutely loved it.
Drain Me was the very first book I ever read from this author on Wattpad, and I instantly fell in love with her writing style and how elegantly her stories unfold. I've waited years for this sequel and read several of Lana's books since, and I am never disappointed. This book was no different. It uncovered mysteries I hadn't even thought of when reading the 1st book, and as someone who writes themselves, it's difficult to find storylines that are unpredictable. Thank you for making the wait worthwhile👏🏾👏🏾.

Long awaited sequel
I'm so happy to get this sequel. I can only imagine how hard it was to write it when inspiration may not hit but fans remain ravenous. It was well worth the wait. We got background on Dublin, and we learned more about the secret societies that engulf Dublin and Eleanor. The story has a wonderful gothic feel, with some Romeo & Juliet mixed in.I did get frustrated at times with so much use of "interrupted" dialogue , such as:“What else was I supposed to do?” His lips grazed my jaw in an almost apologetic caress. “I tried to protect you on my own. I failed. Should I just sit back and let him…”“What if I sold myself to Raphael?” I countered thickly. “How would you feel?”My favorite parts included background on The Grayne, and all the mythology involved. Loved the interactions with the vampires, who played games constantly. It made sense: these immortals had nothing but time so why not use it as a game? It's a very unique plot device and it was very successful.I hope we get an additional epilogue to find out what happens next.

"I want you, Eleanor Gray..."
Chain Me is an impressive sequel to the Drain Me book written in 2014. Yes I had been waiting patiently for the continuation of Dublin and Eleanor's journey through vampire contracts, family secrets, terminal illnesses, and the possible future that they could have together. And yes I may have emailed/texted the author a few times about the sequel, needing my Dublin fix."I want you, Eleanor Gray..."And with that statement being said, I absolutely loved Dublin for putting himself out there with Eleanor and taking care of her personal safety since she had no regard for her own well being. Her character could be described as the 'tragic comic relief' to Dublin's high strung, stoic demeanor which cracks when the two are together. In both books we learn of Dublin's very violent/evil history that he has tried to move on from by resisting the urges to become the monster he once was. Enter Eleanor and the poor vampire just losses his sanity. I do think that in the beginning she had entered into the contract with Dublin so she could 'have some thrills' before her time expired. She lived a boring life and had nothing to lose. As for Dublin he had street cred to lose in the big, bad vampire world by being with her and trying to remain distant with his growing feelings towards the spinster. It is stressful at times feeling Dublin's tenuous hold on Eleanor being threatened as the 'monsters' in the vampire world have her on their radar. It was frustrating (and heartbreaking) at times when Eleanor repeatedly thought that it must be a game or joke for Dublin to want her. She is good at belittling herself since almost everyone around her, family included, had put down her appearance to a point where I can understand why she wanted to be 'invisible'. She is anything but invisible to Dublin and I think she becomes the center of his existence. As their intimacy continues to grow Dublin becomes the caregiver when she is to sick to care for herself. Without calling it a committed relationship out loud it is evident that both are performing the roles of boyfriend/girlfriend. And I feel like poor, smitten Dublin would find it much harder to walk away from her then for Eleanor to leave him since she's got her hostile cat Mr. Tinkles to take care of. That cat is a mess! The Ellie Gray chronicles is a remarkable, emotional love story that I hope Lana Sky will continue. I have fallen in love with Dublin and Eleanor's characters and the human/vampire world that they inhabit and I am greedy enough to ask for more please! Thank you Lana for making my year by releasing this satisfying sequel!

I’m sad because it was so good!!!
Chain me was worth the wait! After reading Drain Me on Wattpad after so many years I hoped that someday you would continue the series. I reread Drain Me a couple more times and I still couldn’t get over how captivating the storyline was. Chain Me came out even better than I expected, it messed with my emotions and left me wanting more. I pray and hope that maybe you can come out with another book to continue Dublin and Eleanor’s story. 🙏🏼❤️

Extremely slow start
A slow torturing start. I hated it as I was reading it. Ellie was so annoying and the dynamic between her and Dublin was chafing. But once you get to a point in the book, I’m not sure if there was a better way to go about it. The annoying self doubt and weakness made sense. And once you are past that, which was about 80% through the book, it picked up and started to get good.Maybe the author could have condensed the whole annoying part and focused on the storyline of the last 20%. I would definitely give it 4stars if the beginning wasn’t so hard to get through.

Excellent fantasy romance gone dark
Let me say this author knows how to weave a fantasy up and down your brain does not know what to believe. It's crazy how the beginning started and evolved the author got right to it till end . I couldn't put the kindle down . Two very complex characters hate and love . Had me guessing know what ? ANd when you think you knew you didn't the suspense , mystery and hate to love but with such passion . Dublin and Eleanor could not deny each other or stay away it was, like they were bound . The other characters very interesting as well and witty .please, make a part 3 seems to be unfinished business.

A great finish
I loved both books in the series. A little slow at the beginning but more than made up for. A thoroughly enjoyable and different take on vampires, dark in places but again worth it.

Well worth the read
The Ellie Gray Chronicles is a dark twisted read. It is full of plot themes that you won’t see coming! Loved the characters, heroes and villains. Yup loved the villains too, I think there could be a story or two there as well.

A Masterpiece!
I've been waiting for years for the release of "Chain Me". And it was more than worth it. Dublin and Ellie are still my favourite of all twisted characters Miss Lana Sky has ever concocted in that brilliant mind of hers. I am utterly devastated that there isn't a further adventure I can embark on with these two lovers. In my opinion Sky's best work yet. Keep it up!
