Did everything I needed it to do.
Needed to split a digital high definition cable line.It was Super Bowl time and I wanted to setup two 50+" HDTVs in my family room. I know it seems like overkill, but I knew with 50+ guests slammed into my family room there was no way we could all fit around one TV. I borrowed my friend's HDTV and brought the cable box from my bedroom downstairs. All i needed was a way to split the digital cable line from the wall between the two cable boxes I had downstairs. That's were this splitter came in handy. I already had a couple extra feet of COAX cable. so I used it to bring into the splitter and then used the coaxes that came with the cable boxes on the other end.Everything worked perfectly. The picture looked fine and there was no complaints by anyone watching.

Cheap and works well
This isn't my area of expertise, but I this definitely works better than the old one that I had. There appears to be a lot less interference. There's a small little screw where you can attach a grounding wire to it if you don't already have the cable grounded somewhere else. The screw that came with it, I think, was a 1/2" screw so if you're going to be hanging this up to dry wall/ indoors, make sure you use a larger screw and make sure there's a stud behind the area you're going to be hanging this.

came to the rescue
In moving tvs around I discovered my cable cord wasn't long enough to plug into the tv. The cord is a complicated system and i couldn't rearrange it. I knew a splitter was needed. After seeing them for many prices on different web sites, I was glad to see this one. Reviews were good. I bought 2 as they were inexpensive. It was the proper solution to my problem. Seems sturdy, well built and i am glad i chose it.

It's too flat
The splitter is completely flat, meaning you have to screw on your COAX cables before screwing the splitter into a wall or beam using the screw eyelets. The same goes for removing a COAX cable, you have to unscrew the splitter from the wall before unscrewing the coax cable. For most people this is ok, but for me, I needed something raised when installed, and so I ended up picking up what I needed from the local Hardware Store. It costed a little more, but it also doesn't have the same cheap feeling as this one, so I'm happy.

Can also be used to join 2 lines together
I've never used this for splitting, but I have used it for joining. I have an OTA antenna and my cable hooked up to the one end and my TV to the other. Since I don't pay for HD, it is nice to watch Sunday football and other programs that are on regular TV in HD without needing to unplug wires. Works well, great price.

Great, affordable signal splitter
I purchased this to split a cable tv signal between an HDTV and a PC tv tuner. It has worked flawlessly, as both devices get full signal strength with amazing HD quality. Especially considering the price, this is the perfect tv signal splitter.

A really good product.
This works really well. My TV monitor has one HDMI input, so I use the splitter for both my cable box and my video player. The splitter can sense where the input is coming from and automatically activates that arm of the splitter to feed the monitor. Don't need to switch the splitter.

Does exactly what it's supposed to, cheaply
I use this backwards since we have two devices that use the coax cable connection on the back of the TV (the cable TV plus our old Atari). Attached the single end with a 2' cable to the back of the TV and left the double (splitter) end in front so we can change out the Atari and cable TV at will. Works fine and does not appear to degrade the signal of the HD channels. For $3 what are you risking? Nothing, really. Try it out and see if it works for you.
