My hair is the thinnest, finest hair you can possibly imagine. Combine that with the humidty in Texas and you get a lifetime of limp, straight hair. Until now. Believe me when i say these curlers will put a curl in my hair that lasts for days! It gradually decreases as i sleep and go through the week but someone has asked me after a week if i just had just done my hair. This set is truly a wonder. No damaged hair, no burnt skin . Just wonderful luxurious curls. I just can't believe it. When i was researching what roller sets were the best this was the number 1 listed and it truly is.

These are legitimately old-school rollers. These ARE your grandma's tried and true set. 👍 I am terrible at doing my hair... I wash it, toss in mousse and sometimes just tussle it with my hands until dry or occasionally ill use a defused but I am not the 'stand here and do this until I look on point, on fleek, on live..' whatever. I infact go days without anything being done to my hair because it's usually a bun on my head.I washed my hair and added some light weight styling products and waited until it was about 90% dry and I begun rolling... Of course the new dog goes nuts, scares the cat and the cat sets the entire set cascading across my vanity and floor, GREAT START. I was upset thinking the heat was gone in them I'd have to wait another half hour for them to heat... Nope. Just put then back in and about 2 min later they were hot again. Once the UNIT is hot you're good to toss them back in for like a min and they can roll. So I stumbled and parted my hair like a 6 year old child, I used to much hair in some and wrapped a small tiny few hairs on a roller.. Basically.. I looked like boo boo the fool trying to get my thin tiny bit of hair wrapped up but I did it. I promise PROMISE PROMISE.. if I can wrap these in my hair, you can too. The pins DO WORK if you insert them correctly (there are videos of how to do that but honestly the trick is making sure the FLAT side or non curved side of the pin is the side you slide against your scalp and USE THE RIGHT COLOR PIN (some of yall used the big fuscia roller pins for the small white rollers talking bout the pins don't work- speaking of boo boo the fool, use the pin right and it WORKS ladies, stop acting like user error is the reason something isn't working). Like I said look at how flat my hair normally is and the amount of crazy volume and bounced curls I got from a 45 min setting. I just threw my bonnet over the set and vacuumed the house then did my makeup and by the time I was done they were ready to come out. It took about 15 minutes to roll my hair once I got the pin down. Another tip for the pins.. if when you put the pin on the roller and the roller doesn't stay (drops down or starts to sag) FLIP THE PIN And use the flat side to lay adjacent to your scalp as you push the roller firmly into the pin the flat slide is what keeps it tight to your head. There... that is all I know and the extent of my curling knowledge now lays with you. Hence you shall go forth on your curling experience and get the result I did or you might want to check a few videos (I did, I won't lie, this was my first time putting rollers in and I never knew how to do it properly, still don't but I know how to do it and get it done now)So..enjoy. they are worth the price.

Love that it has 3 sizes of rollers. They work well. Heats up fast, cools off fast once unplugged. I do prefer the clamps versus the metal clips, but easy to order a set, which I am doing.

Easy to use, even though I have a long hair, there are enough rollers, even though I would prefer more of the larger ones. You don’t have to leave them in your hair very long.

I’ve used hot rollers since jr high, and am a former hairdresser, but I could not get my fine silky hair to stick to roller enough to even wind it to my scalp! It took 3-6 times to get it in far enough to use the clip! These keep heating so if you have trouble , until you get to the end the rollers, they are really hot. One rested against my upper ear after finally getting a clip to stay, and it burned my skin. No switch so you’d actually have to unplug the unit if it’s getting too hot. So I had trouble trying to wind clean silky hair around these rollers. Didn’t grip my bob-length hair at all. The few I did get in made a really nice curl that lasted. Perhaps you’ll have better luck than I did…

I bought these for my mom since her other set from the 1980’s caught on fire! She said they work great but was hoping she could use the old clips with the new set, but the design had changed over the years.. anyway she is happy and the safety and quality seems great with this new set

These curlers are fantastic for rolling my long hair. Heats up fairly quickly and is gentle to the touch. Great price and I highly recommend.

I returned to a product that was hot a number of years ago. It works great with my shoulder link Hair. My only problem is the attachments. I did try the combs (bought independently as suggested by another user)which do seem to hold a bit more snug.
