So glad I switched

I had been a repeat customer of Anker vertical mice for more than 10 years (3 or 4 over that time) but this last one finally started giving out in ways I hadn't experienced like sticking left clicks and accidentally double clicking or getting stuck momentarily. My job requires constant mouse in hand, clicking hundreds if not thousands of times a day, so that costs time and caused frustration. Over the years, I'd also sometimes wished it had increased angle degree for those really long repetitive clicks days. After enough frustration, I took a chance and went with this iClever mouse which claimed to be quieter with a higher angle and in two weeks of use I haven't been disappointed. The clicks are so quiet in comparison to the Anker! The response is great. The angle took some getting used to given how long I'd been using the Anker but now it feels natural. The material of the product also feels so much tackier than the Anker that I expect it'll hold up longer before it inevitably gets a bit grimey but that's TBD with time. One call out is in the photos it's obvious how much wider my thumb has to open up -- which I'm still getting used to -- but it's not painful, just different. My hands are small so it may not be as big a deal for bigger hands to adjust. The other callout is the footprint is obviously a tad larger but the DPI response is good enough that no issues with the small space I have to work with.Overall, I'm so glad I made the switch. As of now, think it's safe to say I'm done with the Anker vertical mouse and would buy this iClever product again!

Truly ergonomic mouse suitable for large hands

I tried half a dozen of various fancy "ergonomic" mouses and they all felt extremely uncomfortable and caused a lot of tension in the hand and wrist. All, except this one. While I would still like it to be a little bigger, it has such a shape that I still can relax my hand even though the mouse is somewhat shorter than my hand. The mouse doesn't last too long (1-2 years), but it's not too bad either. Once my current mouse stops working, I'm going to buy it again (for the 4th time). There's just nothing else in the market that suits my hands.

Mouse is slippery and the Left Click button doenst always work

Generally I like the mouse. I like the gap/separation of the thumb section from the rest of the mouse, unlike other ergonomic mice where the thumb is pinched much closer to the fingers, this mouse is comfortable to hold on to all day. The ergonomic design has reduced the wrist strain I used to experience with my old traditional mouse. There are two flaws to this mouse that I have come across so far. The first is easily remedied; the mouse is slippery. When you first get the mouse it has a velvety soft finish that is actually very slippery and it is hard to keep your hand in the proper position on it.. To keep my hand in the correct position I was squeezing the mouse harder and bracing the top of it with my thumb...This caused my thumb to get sore quickly and I couldn't use the mouse for more than an hour or two at a time because of the strain. I read another reviewer with the same problem and they found a great solution. I purchased some baseball bat or tennis racket tape from Walmart and lined the palm area and base of the mouse with the tape to make it less slippery (see attached images). This mostly solved the problem of my hand slipping down and off the mouse when using it.. I no longer get thumb strain from trying to hold onto the mouse when using it and have been able to use it for a full day without switching back to my old one.The second problem I've had with this mouse is not as easily fixed. The left mouse button does not click well at all. The mouse advertises to be a silent clicker, and it generally is very quiet, but unfortunately they traded the function of actually clicking for a softer quieter click (the click is so soft it almost doesn't click at all). I have a hard time getting the button to recognize that I am clicking.. It takes several tries to double click to open a file, often times highlighting the item or entering edit mode instead of opening it. Also, if I attempt to drag and drop anything I often lose the clicking contact and drop the item I am trying to drag, which is very annoying. I think a person with longer fingers will have an easier time clicking the buttons and getting it to recognize the click because the mouse buttons seem stiffer the closer to the palm section you get and easier to click the farter from it.Overall it is a good mouse that is comfortable and generally easy to use. Although, it does seem to be geared towards people with larger or longer hands that wont slip off or have trouble clicking the buttons. I do recommend it for the better ergonomic thumb placement compared to other mice. And even though the clicking issue is annoying it hasn't deterred me from using the mouse daily.

Solid mouse that works well... but kinda small for me. (updated)

(Updated to 5-star because of amazing customer service. See bottom for update.)To clarify, my hand measures 3.75 inches across the palm and 8 inches from the tip of my middle finger to the bottom of my palm. I have bigger-than-average hands but I am by no means an "Andre the Giant". The mouse works well and is set up nearly instantly. The clicks are silent and the sensitivity is more than adequate. The issue is that for a vertical mouse, it simply is not tall enough for me. It would need to be another .75-1 inch taller to actually get my hand to an ergonomic position. As it stands I can almost use it in the same position as a normal flat mouse because it is so low to the desk. If I put my fingers on the mouse buttons at the correct location the palm rest is nearly an inch from touching my hand. For those wondering the highest point on the mouse is about 2.75 inches tall. If your palm is more than 3 inches wide I doubt this will get your hand to an actual ergonomic angle.UPDATE: Here is the thing. I gave this mouse a 3-star review with honest feedback about a perfectly good product that just wasn't for me. I didn't even try to return it or anything and just accepted the loss because it still works well I just have big hands. The seller contacted me and offered a full refund without even having to return the product. That is a level of customer service that is above and beyond and that is why this product is 5-star. With customer care like that, you can buy this product, and rest assured they will do the best they can for you.
