Extremely happy!
This product works! My husband is a Type 1 diabetic, and has really been missing swimming. One day we tried a Ziploc bag and put a rubber band around it also, it worked, but it was a hassle, and we were reluctant to trust it completely. We were brain storming and thought someone should invent something for diabetics that have insulin pumps, so they can have fun in the water also. So I came home and surfed Amazon for such an invention. Was glad to see there was a product, and was really hoping it worked. Happy to say that we went to the lake this past weekend and floated in some tubes, his pump stayed completely dry. He is not physically able to waterski, so can't rate how it would hold up. One thing that we did notice is...when you are trying to close the bag, you may think you have to press hard to close it and seal it properly, but actually if you press to hard it goes to far past the groves it is supposed to align with. So don't press it together too hard or it won't close. If you are a insulin pump user, and love the water, you will not be disappointed in this product!

Great way to keep Insulin Pump dry
Purchased this Aquapac to go on a day-long white-water rafting trip. I'm an active, Type 1 diabetic and have worn an insulin pump for about 10 years. On previous rafting trips, I've removed my pump rather than risk water damage. Thanks to the Aquapac, I was able to keep the pump on for the entire day - making for a healthier and happier trip.Found it very easy to place the pump in the pack and seal. There is a small notch for the tubing to feed through. The clear panel on the front allowed me to see the screen and use the buttons without having to open the sealed pack. After a day of rafting, which included jumping from rocks into the river and some swimming, there was only light condensation on the inside of the pack. The adjustable belt allowed me to wear the device comfortably and concealed.Would recommend testing out the set up / sealing procedure prior to going near the water. The fasteners move in a couple different directions and you want to be sure you know how to get the seal right!Highly recommend this product to any insulin pump user looking to enjoy time around the water.

Manufacturer's instructions say it's only waterproof for 10 seconds!
The product was sold as waterproof, but the instructions said it's waterproof for 8 - 10 seconds. Not what I needed at all. Also, it was sold as being for a Tandem T-Slim insulin pump, but the item that arrived was packaged as a microphone case.

Beach vacation saver!
I purchased this case to protect my wife's Medtronic 630G insulin pump while on an overseas beach vacation. Since we were far away from home and any possibility of repair or replacement of the pump, I wanted extra protection. The case performed well for incidental splashing and to protect from getting sand and salt on the device. There were a few instances where the case was very briefly submerged or splashed heavily and there was no leakage. We did not test completely submerging the pump in the case for any length of time, not wanting to take a chance on ruining our vacation. The flow of insulin was not affected by the use of the case. The screen was completely visible, and buttons were accessible through the case. This product definitely performed as advertised, was comfortable to wear around beach and pool, and gave peace of mind that extra protection was being given to the pump. The only issues we had were around getting the device in and out of the case. The fit is very tight around the pump, and got progressively more difficult to insert and remove over the course of the vacation. By the end of the week, I had to stretch the plastic to move the pump and was afraid I might damage it and leave the pump vulnerable. You will need to remove the belt clip to get the pump in at all. For our next trip, I think I will get the one of the larger wire-through cases from Aquapac. The case closure is very well designed and takes little force to close. The material the case is made of is far tougher than those advertised for cell phones, and gave us confidence in its protection. We feel it was well worth the price. I would definitely buy another waterproof case from Aquapac to protect critical, sensitive electronic devices.

This means better controlled BGs all summer
I don't often write product reviews unless a product impacts my life in a way that I am compelled to tell others. I've been a pump wearer for a decade, always having to take the pump off for any water activity. That all changed yesterday when I went for my 30 minute swim, but this time my BG was not sky high when I got back into the locker room to check due to lack of basal. Sometimes my pump is off from 2-3 hrs.The impact of what this means is big. This summer for the first time, I will be able to wear my pump full time on my boat under my swim shirt. I'm often in and out of the water, possibly even water skiing. This means better controlled BGs all summer, and even Bette protection for the pump rather than keeping it water vulnerable in my fanny pack.A colleague of mine is a T1D triathlete, and I have already shared this product with h. He was quite excited. After first use, there were no signs of water intrusion. So far so good. Thank you Aquapac for designing this product.

Loved it originally but still better then nothing.
Updated...2nd time I used this in another small waterpark the aquapac did take on some water and was not 100% dry as my first experience. Thankfully my pump didn't quit on me.Original: Extremely happy with this! Bought it for a T-slim pump for a trip at Wisconsin Dells and took it on all the water slides and pools....not a drop of water got into the case or on my pump. I did use the belt and hid everything under my bathing suit with no problem. The excess part of the belt did fall out several times but wasn't an issue. I also had to take the outer case off my pump so it wasn't too snug. I've had a pump since 2004 and this is the 1st time I haven't had to stop what I was doing and reattach my pump to keep my sugars from spiking to high, I left it on with no problems.
