Serenity 2000 | Magnetic Therapy Pad Review - Check Magnetic Polarity First
I’ve only had the pad a few days, and will update once I’ve had it a while. I did want to share a few things, including that the pad is well made, very sturdy, and is soft on both sides. Per another’s post, I tested the polarity of the magnets (the North side should be toward the skin) and also found that the North side was opposite what is claimed. Per instructions, the North polarity is on the side of the pad with blue designs. However, after finding the North polarity of a separate magnet, it attracted to that side which means the colored side of the pad had the South polarity. Simple fix - I flipped and am using the white side of the pad (North polarity) toward my skin. Currently sleeping with it under my head and shoulders (put in an allergy safe pillow protector). Will update when I determine it helps with pain and sleep.

Find an additional method to hold them in place.
The adhesive patches are a great idea. But not up to the task on my overnight applications.

Do not waste your money on this pad-Not Worth It!
Do not waste your money. This magnetic pad was not cheap and sadly, the price is not worth something that did not work. I have used magnets before and they do work. I have back pain and I thought this would work while sleeping. It did not do a dang thing.

Legit... A little pricy but you get what you pay for
I've had mine for quite awhile now. I'm reviewing this in particular because I get immense relief from this under my pillow (in the bottom of the pillow case to be exact.) How? I find it relaxes my muscles, neck and whatnot. Racing thoughts dwindle, and I sleep great. (grounding blankets can be a great thing to add to benefit sleep too)For those sceptical, I urge you to look into the various studies finding tremendous benefits from magnetic North. There is a college level book over in India called Magnetobiology, looking at this stuff in a very technical light. In short, if you're unsure but want to somehow benefit your sleep, buy it try it put it under your pillow and wait a week to see if it helps. If so, awesome. If not, oh well. The return policy is good.Anyway, good stuff.

Good product
I feel this has helped my neck which has a pinched nerve in the disc. I have numbness and tingling in the neck every night. The magnetic pad is there to support my neck... I also have been able to dream more than I used to. I recommend trying this pad, as the other brand is triple the cost, which I had bought before and it fell apart.

The material and number of magnets.
Not what I expected. The size is what I wanted but the material is awful. It's not soft. Feels slick and crinkly. I have purchased about a dozen of of smaller size pads for myself and family and friends. The most durable is the one that is truly quilted. The magnets are sewn in place. It's just a little thick and stiff at first, but softens up after use and washing. The others look quilted but the magnets are just stuck on the material and eventually move around and clump together. I tried washing this blanket to soften it but still not soft. The magnets appear to be just stuck on and not sewn in place. I imagine they will move and clump eventually. I might try to sew them before that happens but it still doesn't fix the material texture problem. My other small pads work really well for magnet therapy. You can actually feel warmth in the areas treated and helps to reduce pain and improve healing by increasing circulation for me.

Noticeable difference in daily life
Magnet therapy makes a huge difference in my life. I am currently in a wheelchair fulltime and it helps with circulation as well as strength and self healing. Magnetic therapy helps your body to heal itself. Getting these pads helps give me energy, which often makes the difference in being able to transfer safely from wheelchair to bed or chair or toilet. Using a pad in my wheelchair has significantly decreased the number of times I have had to call Fire Rescue for lift assist to get me off the floor after a fall during transfers.
