I’m honestly not great at styling my hair, but the KISS Instawave 101 Automatic Curler has made curling super easy and actually fun. I love that it automatically spins in both directions — no awkward wrist twisting or guessing. This product is not made as well as it used to be. The part that guides your hair is too close to the barrel, not as roomy and that takes away the workability of the product. Cannot get my hair to stay in this, it slips out unlike older models of same product. No grab, no curl. Returning.

I’ve been using this curling iron for years and love it. I cannot use a traditional curling iron but I find I this one easy to use (though I did watch a tutorial the first time I used it). The curls hold all day. The only thing I don’t like is that the cord gets coiled up and it doesn’t turn off automatically like my straightener does. Other than that I love it. I have replaced it a few times over the years but I do use it every day.

I’ve had one before and it’s an awesome styling tool, I used it so much that the prongs just started snapping off, I ordered this for a replacement, but when I took it out of the box, it came with a european plug 😏. Hello, im in Alaska not in Europe…I’m disappointed and don’t want to go thru the return policy, so I’ll just have my hubby cut a plug end off …. Hopefully 🙏🏼 it works…. But I guess you can say I’m a dissatisfied customer.. why they did not list that it was not a US type of plug. it did not list in the description that it was not a US plug, or give an option to choose which plug according to the country you live in that needs to be on that product. So now because of that, I have to go to another store local and buy an adapter so I can use it, I should not have to spend any extra money on the product that I bought.. unfortunately, we can’t just cut the end of it off and replace it with a normal plug-in. My husband said that it will not work due to the voltage. This will probably be the last hairstyling tool that I will buy, unless it is clearly stated which country the plug-in can be used in. I hope this review helps everybody, and it has made me be more aware of what the description says…Thanks

Didn't realize KISS made this product. I had a rotating curling iron from a different manufacturer and it was the best, lasted two years. I have natural curly hair, so I would use it when I wanted straight but big loose curls. Used for the first time today, pleased but a little unsure. Will continue to use, I think used best when your hair is completely dry and already straight.

I have the Kiss Instawave 1” barrel curler and it’s a great tool. I purchased this version because I wanted a bigger barrel but sadly, it is nothing like the 1” design. It doesn’t beep when it’s time to release the curl (not a dealbreaker), it pulls out hairs because they get stuck at the top of the barrel and the cord constantly gets wound/tangled. It’s really not worth it, even if it is cheaper than the 1” version. Skip this and just get the 1” instawave. (black and white)

At first was kind of difficult to use but with practice I handled it. Practice makes perfect.

Finally found the tool that does what I wanted. My hair looks great. I was looking at the beachwaver and it was 125.00 . I thought I would try this tool and WOW! ITS AWESOME. IT'S EASY TO USE. Just get it and give it a try. Seriously it's so easy. Look at videos on youtube for a little instructional help. If you need it. It doesn't tug or pull my hair at all. Love it.
