College dorm approved! :)
I didn't want to have to bring one of my more expensive guitars back to the dorms with me. There are always people coming in and out of the room and I don't want to have to worry if someone breaks it, or it ends up being stolen. For $159, this guitar is more than sufficient. Some people have been stating that there were intonation problems with the guitar. I had some issues with that myself, but all new guitars and new strings have that problem. I have been playing guitar for about seven years, but only recently found out that stretching out your strings can help fix this issue. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube that show you how to stretch them out. If you're a beginner, don't get frustrated, just work through it logically! (You wouldn't vigorously run/jog without proper stretching!)Obviously, the sound will not compare to a full sized guitar, but for under $200, this guitar is great! Yes, it lacks a good bass sound, but the overall tone of the guitar is fun sounding and unique. It has a box like quality in terms of projection, and that's ok, because it adds to the appeal of the guitar. Coming in at around three pounds, the guitar is lightweight and VERY portable. The gig bag that comes with it is quite flimsy, so I ended up also purchasing a 15mm padded gig bag to protect it while I'm traveling or away at college. The action, or how far away from the strings are from the fretboard, is a little too high for fingerpicking, but due to the small scale of the guitar, I don't have to apply too much pressure. I'm probably going to sand down the saddle later on.If you're a child starting to learn guitar, or someone looking for a decent travel guitar, this is the best 3/4 guitar in its price range. If you don't go into this purchase with a mindset of thinking it will sound like a $1000 guitar, then you will be very pleased. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it! Can't wait to bring it to college with me!

Happy with my choice!
I have been looking at this 3/4 travel guitar from Luna's Safari line for quite some time. As an middle-aged small woman, I decided I would purchase a small guitar that fit my body & hands and make the fingering as easy as possible for me as I age, and the laser etch on this all-mahogany guitar is fantastic. I took it to a guitar tech as soon as it arrived, and he gave it back at no charge, stating to his own surprise that it needed no setup! (Won't happen for yours!)For the price paid, this is an attractive little guitar with a pleasant mild tone, and is built of real wood. Is it the quality of a Baby Taylor or Little Martin--no. But for those with a limited budget, this is a good purchase for an entry-level instrument. If they had a left-handed Safari model, I would have bought one for my girlfriend too!

Love it!
Love this guitar. I’ve been playing a long time and have multiple guitars but wanted something fun and comfortable to pick at while laid back on a couch or chair. This guitar exceeed my expectations. It sounds great and has a full sound, and not just for it’s size. Holds tune great and is easy and comfortable to play. Only thing to note is the action was a little high to start but it came provided with a wrench to adjust the truss rod. After a few days of slight adjustments and time to settle in, it was perfect.

Beautiful Sound
It sounds amazing once tuned. It has close geared tuners, which help it to stay in tune longer. The design is very pretty. It did come late, but it wasn't too worrying. Overall, it's a great guitar, and worth the money.

Doesn't play in tune.
I wanted to purchase a smaller guitar for my children to begin on. These guitars look beautiful but the 3/4 size did not stay in tune when chords were played. I am experienced with guitar myself and found that when strings were pressed against the fret, they went sharp, creating dissonance against the strings that were open. Not cool. I sent it back and will only buy a guitar online that I've tried in person from now on.I've used the 7/8 size Luna that a friend had and it seemed good. I would still consider Luna, but a larger size.

Great little guitar
Gift for my son. He's a BIG teenager, but he loves this little guitar. For just taking time the park or wherever you cant beat it. I did buy him a better gig bag though. The one it comes with is more of a dust cover. Too bad it doesn't have a left handed option. I had to go with another company for mine.

Doesn't Stay in Tune
While this guitar is very nice looking, great sounding and easy to play, it doesn't want to stay in tune. My observation is the tuning changes with temperature/humidity. My house is fairly well controlled (75 - 80 degrees) I do open the house up depending on the weather. I haven't changed the strings out as yet but doubt that is the problem because the non-wire wound (steel) strings go out of tune also. I don't feel that is such a big deal as I have a tuner attached to the neck and tune it when I start to play. It does stat in tune throughout the session.

Great guitar.
My 14 year old daughter has a Luna ukulele and loves it. She also has a full size electric guitar and a full size acoustic guitar but wanted something a little less unwieldy for her size to bang around with. This guitar was perfect for this. It's easier for her to haul around the house and friends houses. It has a good tone. Her older brothers even steal (borrow?) it from time to time.
