iSkelter Slice LapDesk with Mousepad - Made for Your Arm Chair, Sofa, and Bed

This was the longest lap desk I could find. I bought it as a gift for someone who does projects while sitting in a recliner chair. The length is decent and mostly reaches from arm rest to arm rest, but I would have liked it even better, had it been a few inches longer. The pencil holder is a nice feature. If you want to use this desk for projects that don't require a computer, mouse pad or pens/pencils, you can just turn it over and you have a nice flat surface. It would work for doing small puzzles or games, although there is no lip around the perimeter. This is nice and sturdy and does not flex, so if you have heavy binders or other books you are containing on your lap, this should be sufficient.

This is really working out for me. I had an old lap desk from target that was pretty big and couldn't find a replacement until I found this. I have enough room for my mouse and a buffer on the left which I need because one of my cats rubs my power cord (I'm afraid it will eventually break) and because I have a few extra inches, he can't get to it and I can put my phone or remote there. So the cat thing may just be my scenario but the remote/phone space should be more universal :)The edges on mine are fine other than one chip which is more cosmetic than anything else.

Purchased the lap desk for my 85-year-old father who had recent leg angio surgery and was in the habit of placing the laptop on his lap in the recliner. Not anymore. Now he has the lap desk that fits perfectly arm to arm with his chair, laptop and mouse within easy reach, can be flipped and used for an eating or reading table, and the best part - he loves it! Quality is excellent, customer service outstanding, very pleased with product and company.

I use this on my reclining lounge chair with a 17 inch laptop computer. It works perfectly. Overall the craftsmanship is really good. The sharp edge has been sanded off of most corners. There are still some sharp edges on the bottom side of the two handle holes that I will sand down with some very fine 220 grit sand paper.A sticker on the bottom states "Hand-Built by people who give a damn" Like the slogan.

Works great for late night work on the computer. Fits well on the side of our bed.

I have been debating whether to purchase iSkelter for a while..I finally pulled the trigger. The only thing bothers me so far is the sharp edges of the LapDesk. It causes marks and a bit of pain while putting arms there. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.
