These are my go to shorts and I love them. I have colors in gray black, brown and blue. They wear pretty well and are very comfortable. They wash well and the length is just right for me. The darker colors do fade, but it takes a long time to do so. Just wash in cold water and hang dry. Even with putting them in the dryer, they keep their shape pretty well.

Took a LONG time to find these mostly cotton mid-rise shorts. Please make vapris and/or cropped length with part from knee down tight like leggings made? in addition to way shorts are. Don't have big knees or big calves (or big thighs) just because wide hips and round rear and wide-ish waist require my taking an XL. Cotton is perfect - not as soft as pajama bottoms, but not as stiff as some cotton. Enough material in rear. If have curvy bottom, often too high in front and they pull down a bit in back for flatter rear. These are perfect. Love both mid-thigh and knee length ones (5'3 1/2 inches and XL). Not sure if smaller sizes are shorter inseam length. So many brands assume if XL, have huge thighs. Thighs fit snuggly enough like leggings. Great weight if live hot place or summer anywhere. Since mostly cotton, healthier for women, especially when perspire. I like the thinner waistband. Does not dig in like some wider ones. If you wear tunic length tops perfect. I do not like thicker compression shorts in 90 degree heat if sitting outside or walking. I hate high waisted ones. Feel like pictures of old men pulling pants under armpits since short waisted. I wash them in cold water and hang them to dry so not shrink. Could have tried buying larger size and seeing if fit after washing warm water and putting in dryer, but life's too short for that. I only buy dark colors ones (black and nay blue) so I cannot say if light ones see through. But these are not compression, so almost all women not built perfectly enough to wear with a top that does not reach below rear in back and crotch in front. If you're worried they are see through, especially in light colors, you are wearing too short a top! For your info, great top is Old Navy sleeveless quick dry tunic high necked with high slits on side. Neck high not V or low cut, which I usually hate, but so soft material not realize on collerbone.
