Our 2 year old toddler just started gymnastics and this is her current favorite “toy”… she loves showing us her moves and makes us participate. Overall, very sturdy as both my husband and I have done the balance walk plenty of times. It’s easy to assemble (comes in a storage bag) and very light in terms of weight. Love its functionality and all in all feels safe to use on any flat surface!

This product is as shown. The size is acceptable for younger children (ours is ten and still uses it).You literally just take it out of the bag and unfold it so it’s easy to set up and take down.The wood has sufficient padding on it that we aren’t worried about falls or injuries. Makes it more comfortable on the feet and on the parents mind.Over al it’s built well for a practice beam and works as advertised.

Great confidence builder, it's not high off the ground and intimidating. My 7year old enjoys playing on it and she can carry it herself when it's folded up. Easy to fold up and carry in the bag. It's basically a couple padded boards with a hinge, there isn't much to it, but it works good enough for a basement set up and it's low enough to the ground that you don't have to worry about little ones getting hurt if they fall.

My granddaughter loves this set! Easy to assemble, and its functionality is ideal It’s the perfect size and weight, it’s safe, and good quality. Would recommend this set for beginner gymnasts.

My daughter likes this balance beam, and the price is relatively low, so it might work okay for you. It folds up and stores relatively easy, and it is lightweight so our 9 year old can carry it around by herself, both of which are super handy features.But just keep in mind it is very cheaply made. The hinge isn't all that well designed and after just a few days of play, one screw fell out and has been lost, and another screw BROKE OFF (which very rarely happens, IMHO, except with very poorly made screws.) It's not that hard to fix, but doesn't give me confidence this will hold up, long-term.So... shop around, maybe this is the best option for the price, just realize you may need to make some repairs over time.

As a senior, I am aware that not falling is important! I bought this floor balance beam to keep me standing and on my toes! It's great fun, took me a few days to be able to stay on the beam all the way to one end! Since it sits a few inches off the floor, there is almost no risk of falling. Love doing it, another tool as one ages!
