NOT impressed
I bought this antenna in hopes of getting quiet a few clear & HD quality channels...since that is what this product CLAIMS to provide.I live in a small area but this area should at least recieve all 4 major networks: ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX.Up until now had been using a digital box and $10 rabbit ears...I was able to get ABC, CBS, and FOX. I was able to view a total of 9 channels very clearly with just the cheap rabbit ears, but I enjoy shows on NBC and wanted to be able to get the 3 channels that NBC offers through digital transmission in my area.Well, I saw this antenna and was excited by the prospect of more channels, so I had to order one!The antenna is simply a flimsy piece of plastic with 2 suction cups that refuse to stick to anything! Now, I must say the picture quality is very clear...but I still can't get all 12 channels that I want at the same time. If I spend 20 mins moving the antenna at times I will get the 3 NBC channels, however when the antenna is placed right to recieve those channels I lose the other 9!If you are already using an antenna don't buy this thinking it has magic powers and will give you a lot more channels because it won't!If you are simply looking for a antenna that gives satellite and cable quality picture and takes very little space this could be the right antenna for you, but if you want a lot of local channels that other antennas don't pick up, then don't waste your money on this!

Amazed
I was asked by my father to purchase two of these antennas for him, after he seen it on an infomercial. I was reluctant, but if he wanted to try, who am I to say no? He lives by a lake which is in low lying land. The lake is surrounded by tall bluffs on three sides. He has been using two different kinds of HD rabbit ears that are amplified through a transformer plugged into a wall socket. Each set contained several knobs and buttons for adjustments. My father always had issues receiving several channels. Freezing, pixelation, or no input image at all. I assumed we would have to buy a large antenna and put it on the roof. When I opened the antenna package (HD Clear Vision) I was not impressed at first. It looked like a piece of plastic, with a thin long cord attached. After plugging them in, attaching them to a window, and auto tuning the televisions, I was amazed. all the previous channels came in clear, no freezing, or pixelation, and there were three more channels he had never received before on both televisions from a city seventy miles away. I'm going to buy another for a spare bedroom in my house where I don't have a satellite connection. I don't know why it works, but it does.

It works good
I can pull in 30 channels it really depends on your location but it does work better if you put it in a window

Exceeded expectations
This is about the fifth antenna I have purchased in the last four years and so far the best. The previous antennas (each better than the last so I guess the technology is getting better) picked up 12 channels. I was so pleased when I hooked this antenna up that it located 18 channels! I have not had to move it around a lot like other reviews say they have to, The first few days I did move it but it took doing that to figure out the best location for all channels - of course, not all of the station towers are located in the same direction so that makes sense. But I have had very little of the 'bit freeze' (I don't know what to call it :) with this antenna and have been overall pleased. I would recommend it. And I am SO glad to be rid of the rabbit ears. The window mounting does not even show behind my curtains so I like that about it, too.

It's fine, but not great
This antenna did improve my TV' reception, but it only pulled in ABC and barely delivers 3 Latino stations, which fade in and out. Mind you, I do not have nor do I want cable or Sat TV, (I refuse to pay $700 annually for commercials) so I depend on my SONY WiFi blue-ray player for my media choices, and it would not work w/o an antenna. Hence, this one solved the problem: my streaming material arrives crystal clear. Thanks! (PS) I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it did not perform like it said it would and I KNOW there are many more stations around but it didn't pick them up.

Not for the 140 channel addict, but OK .
If you are not a television fanatic, and only need a few helpful channels like the weather and news, and an occasional good show on public television, then eliminating a continuous $140 cable cost from your bills makes this item perfect. The one time $20 cost gets you a product that is basically an antenna with a coax hook up for the rear the TV. After running a channel search for signals which the antenna can pick up, the 10 or 12 channels that you receive are very clear and nothing like the old rabbit ears reception. And you will definitely get at least one football game every Sunday.

HOPE THIS IS USEFUL!
bought this thinking it would help me get rid of the big 36" antenna's out of the original one i purchased 10 years ago.well it works sometimes but not always, and i still needed the booster box to get the same reception i always have had.and on a dismal day it doesn't work at all.so needless to say i went back to my good old reliable one i purchased at radio shack!and one other thing if you have a cell tower within 35 miles of your location you will need a booster box, that's one thing they don't tell you on their tv advertisement!it comes on the instructions inside the package.

Easy to setup and Works fine.
It works as advertised. I have a room with no cable outlet. It was easy to hook an HD TV antenna to the TV. I then had the TV scan for channels. The weather and placement of the antenna effects which channels are watchable. A weak TV signal will cause the TV station to freeze and drop in and out. This is a characteristic of "digital" rather than the antenna. I can receive 22 channels, most are watchable most of the time.

I live in a large Canadian city with 6 OTA channels. This antenna would only capture 1 or 2 channels in the areas that I have the TV's. I finally found the "sweet spot" upstairs in a bedroom, which grabbed all 3 channels. This means that I'll have to send the signal downstairs by cable, losing more reception. Haven't decided if I'm going to purchase a booster yet.
