Two years ago I purchased the Kavaj iPad mini case cover for my new iPad 2. I loved the case. The iPad fitted it perfectly, it was beautifully made—the stitching itself is a wonder, BUT, the lid did not cover to the point where the magnets put it in sleep mode. It was a good eighth of an inch too short. I now realize that at that time I spoke to one of the owners who, as promised, immediately sent out another case: same problem. I again contacted Kavaj, and they again offered to send another case, but by this time it seemed pointless. I had previously bought a case for a full sized iPad and it fitted beautifully and closed just right so I knew the mini case should do the same. I'd read that they loosened over time so for two years I'd try to pull it and stretch it till it closed, and in the end it did, sort of.I recently upgraded to an iPad Mini 4 which necessitated a new case. I had no hesitation about the case I was going to buy—another Kavaj—and this time I was hoping that it would close well. IT DOES! It's absolutely perfect. It also seems to have stronger magnets on closing and a very satisfying "click." The stitching is just the same, the leather has a great feel and look and everything lines up perfectly. It does justice to the slimness and elegance of the iPad Mini and I love it. Thank you, Kavaj.

Hello!Recently purchased "KAVAJ iPad mini 4 leather case cover" Berlin "The case is made of pretty good qualityvery high quality soft leather, completely stitched around the perimeter .The tablet is in a case and looksvery perfect. I liked very much that the tablet does not click into the cover, but is inserted into the coverit protects from all sides.If the iPad falls, it will not jump out of the case and it will not be damaged,but access to all ports, buttons, camera and speaker is kept, it is very convenient .It is possible to fix iPadin two positions for reading or typing on the screen keyboard and for viewing photos or videos, thanks to the specialdesign of the top cover and the special flap on the back, makes working with it very convenient.It is a very nice beautiful color of the cover.When the iPad is in your case you take it for a long time,you want to hold it in your hands and enjoy the quality of production I recommend buying leather goods andcovers for various items in this very worthy KAVAJ store and I myself will do so in the future.Thank you very much to all the employees of KAVAJ !!!

This tablet case is far more beautiful than I thought it was going to be. In fact I was slightly leery about it because the online photos show it to be somewhat thicker than it actually is. I didnt want a “puffy” tablet cover. Of course I am thrilled it is wafer-thin. The color of the leather is spectacular. The stitching is precise. Every button is covered just right. Camera lens and speakers are all clear. It feels great in my hands. I especially like the inside tabacco-colored soft velvet feel to protect the screen when closed and when I’m holding it open its just a comfy feeling. This case is so beautiful, so precise, so well made it’s almost like I need another case to protect this case! If there is any one thing to improve on, (and I’m just spliiting hairs here) it could be that the left hand side of the case when open; could be about 1/8th of an inch thinner. I fly a lot, and when I bring out my Kavaj-covered iPad Mini, passengers next to me are going “whuuutt is that?” Its fun to show it off. Anyway, this is an awesome product and now I am thinking I need more Kavaj’s in my life.

I'm going to give this product an honest review......I recently purchased the iPad mini 4 which required a new case due to it being a bit taller than the predecessors. I will be clear that I am particular about things and can be a bit of a snob when it comes to leathers, quality, etc..I choose this case because of previous reviews and after watching the YouTube video, it looked like what I was looking for, besides, for 40 bucks, I mean it seemed like a win win. Upon opening the package I must say, I wasn't impressed. I didn't smell that "new leather" smell when I opened it. I thought it would be more of a soft leather and it feels a bit plastic to me. I know it states genuine leather, but from someone who has numerous leather goods, it's a bit different from what I'm accustomed to. I have purchased vaja and piel farma cases for both my iPad and phone and have found both to exceed my expectations of what a leather case is. This Kavaj case, just doesn't do it for me. I will keep it because I don't currently have another case for my new mini, but I will be looking at other options. Overall if your looking for something just to get by, this will suffice, but if your looking for a leather feel good product, this just didn't do it for me. In regards to the functionality of it, it gets an A++. All the ports align perfectly and my device fits snug.

This is the second KAVAJ case I have had. The first was for the original iPad mini and it had some short comings. 1. The front cover flap was a little to short so it wouldn't always close and turn off the iPad. 2. After a couple of months I had some splits around the inside edge, I ended up glueing back together. So I was a little hesitant to buy another one for my new iPad mini 4, but due to a lack of slim leather cases on the market I did indeed get another one. So far I'm glad I did. It looks like the cover flap is a little longer then the older origal iPad mini case. Also, the cover closes much better, it feels like it has slightly larger/stronger magnet in the cover giving it a much better contact when closed. Overall the build quality feels good. I will edit this review in a couple of months and add or subtract a star depending on how the case stands up to use.

I have had my iPad mini almost a year, and I've had two cases in that time. The Kavaj is my third. When I was looking for a case I wanted something that didn't add much weight or bulk to the tablet. The previous cases that I bought seemed to fit the bill, but each time the plastic cradle that the iPad sat in has broken and I've had to replace them. This time I decided to look for something more substantial. but still without adding too much weight or bulk.I very much liked the look of the 'Berlin'. I did have some reservations before I purchased. I was concerned it wouldn't be as thin as the previous plastic cases I'd purchased, and I wasn't too keen on having a case that fitted all the way over the edge of the iPad rather than just the corners.However, upon receiving the 'Berlin' I was very pleased that it really is as thin as the previous cases I'd had, and the although the case holds the iPad in with a leather edging that goes over the edge of the iPad up to the edge of the screen, it isn't distracting like I thought it would be.I treated the case with some water and stain repellent (as you would with a leather bag or shoes), and I shall endeavor to keep the case in pristine condition by applying a little polish every so often.To summarize: I am very pleased with this product. I would definitely buy another, and if I decide to buy a new iPhone 7, I'll certainly go for one of these cases.

I looked long and hard for a good quality leather case for my iPad mini 4 (I'm a fussy sod!). The Kavaj case is real leather and well made.The case is very accurate and fits the iPad like a glove. All slots are well aligned and buttons respond really well. There is no slippage or slippage like you get in some cheaper products.The leather is nice - tan looks great. I applied a small amount of leather balsam (Renapur - it's on Amazon) which adds an extra suppleness and shine to the case.I particularly like the way the stand works. It's a discreet little flap which you tuck the front cover under. It provides a nice angle to type on and a higher angle to watch films etc (NOTE: I though the higher angle didn't work but you just need to fold it a certain way until it wears in. The Kavaj customer support was great and they sent me this link showing how to do it: (...)You obviously won't get quite the same quality/ finish as an £80 or £200 case from Burberry or Aspinal but for this price level I don't think you can get better.

I got this case as a pre-order as I had purchased the iPad Mini 4 just after launch. Once it arrived I was very happy with the case though in using it I have found a few irritations that need fixing.First is the front, the leather around the front is right on the screen edge so if you you swipe from the side to get multi-tasking apps it doesn't work. Same issue swiping between pages, or worse still when you want to have the tablet in portrait you now can't access the acts or below the quick settings.Second issue, is the finger print access. The cover very slightly covers the very bottom edge of the fingerprint reader. At first this didn't seem and issue as I could still access but it soon is highlighted. It generally means that you can only get to the top half of your fingerprint, so the screen doesn't unlock.All in all a very good quality product and very well made, as soon as they fix these issues it will be a top quality product and worth 5 starts.

The product looks and feels nice. Unfortunately the stand doesn't work and this was a main feature of the case for me. I followed Kavaj's online video instructions to make the stand work but it still topples over after 15 seconds. I thought that with use the leather would become more supple and the case would begin to stand but I bought it about 10 months ago and I've now decided to get a different case.I did email the company but I got no reply. I think for £30 case its fair to expect a product which works without hassle.

Il suffit de soulever le clapet intérieur et de glisser l'iPad comme s'il s’agissait d'une photo qu'on met dans un cadre puis replier le clapet derrière.Il reste à voir à la longue l'usure qu'il peut endurer.Je le recommande
