Anyone own this for a while with input have any issues with the locking mechanism? Read on pelican site you are unable to order replacement parts.

It looks like they have finally upgraded the mechanism. The pics show a double bolt system, whereas it used to be just one, The single bolt lock is/was a disaster-almost guaranteed to break eventually, as mine did 1st outing. That said, CS was very responsive-had to fill out their form for the warranty, but got a response back next day that it was approved & a replacement would be on the way. FYI-due to a broken shoulder the paddle was 8 months old at the time of first use.

Does the locking mechanism hold up?

We have had these for a short time - so far, yes. Being adjustable is a nice feature. There is a flap in the center that locks / clamps the paddle at the desired length. The paddle does not slip when locked in place.

Do the blades have any bend?

Not that I have noticed. The blades are pretty stiff. Just an FYI, the locking mechanism for adjusting the shaft length works really well

How many ounces does this paddle weigh?

I got 35.6 oz for the 240-250cm one.
