Sony5MCR-156A 8cm 3 inch CD-R Disc for Mavica Digital Cameras 5-pack (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

If anybody out there still uses an old Sony Mavica digital camera; I've found that these CD-R's are the only ones that work properly with my camera. I've tried cheaper ones, but always find that they end up causing a problem which leads to a loss of all of my images. When using a no-name brand; I'm not able to finalize the images, which is what leads to the image loss. This is the only CD-R disc I would recommend for use with this camera.

Product perfect, delivery timely, price reasonable for discontinued item. Now I need to either find a reliable source for these discs at the quality level the camera demands, or get a new camera (and I LOVE this one!!!)

they dont work in the mavica camera. I got ripped off.

My discs came much faster than I was expecting and was great for the hubby to have time to "play" with them before we leave for vacation. No complaints from us as we were thrilled to be able to get these discs since the manufacturer no longer offers them at any of our local stores and couldn't get them from Best Buy. Now we can continue to use our awesome camera that most would think is outdated but takes awesome photos that our smartphone can't come close to. :)

The Sony Mavica Digital Camera uses mini-discs for storage of pictures and videos. Unfortunately stores don't sell these discs any more because newer and more inexpensive cameras are available. These new cameras don't have the ability to produce the same high quality photographs, however. It's all about the cheaper, faster, less expensive throw away kind of society that the US has become, isn't it? The Mavica produces photographs of a much superior quality but that is not what America wants. Too bad for Americans that we have lowered our standards for the sake of money and "cute-ness". Thank you, Amazon.com for keeping this product on your shelves.

These discs work great. Do bad you can't get them anymore. I had to substitute the memorex 210meg discs which sometimes work 75% and sometimes work 50% in my Sony Camera. I have to put them in my graphics software to get the brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation where it should be.JJK

These disks allow us up to 100 pictures which we can load to the computer and save processing costs. Getting them quickly and at a good price made this transaction a very good buy.

This is a horrible, horrible price for 3" CD-rs. You can find the exact same type of disc at many online stores for much cheaper.For example - I just bought a 40 back of CD-rs for my Mavica camera from an online auction site for $40 including shipping. Here, you're paying times what I paid per disc.Ridiculous.
