Ditch your plastic fins, and step up your game with these fiberglass honeycomb fins from Ho Stevie! These fins are designed to generate maximum performance from your surfboard. The honeycomb design makes the fins lightweight and responsive, providing you with the most speed, power, and flow possible. Quad (4-fin) configuration is great for all-around performance. It gives your surfing a "tighter" feeling than with a thruster (3-fin) configuration. Great for driving and pumping down the line on fast waves, and you'll notice more hold in barreling waves. But it's still loose enough to get crazy with your turns and airs. We (Ho Stevie!) design all of our products with the highest quality standards. If a fin breaks, we will replace it for free. Size is incorrect
After installing these, I was thinking that the fins looked strangely large. Sure enough, my set was not a replica of FCS G5 as advertised. In the attached photo you can see larger orange Ho Stevie! fin behind a black FCS factory G5 (medium) fin. The depth is approximately 4 7/8". Maybe Ho Stevie! fins are copied from a FCS G7 or an XL fin?As other reviewers have noted, some tabs did not sit flush and I would have needed to sand them down to get a good fit. I returned them instead, so I can't comment on the ride.

Perfect middle ground
Ive used these for about two weeks in conditions ranging from ankle high to double over head and I can now say without a doubt that these fins perform just as well as FCS fins but for half the price! They seem to be medium/large when compared to my other fins. They are very light weight and have what id say is a medium amount of flex. They will hold you to the face of a wave pretty well, but will also give you enough pivot to make some turns. In all id say they are a perfect middle ground for fins, and at an excellent price point especially if your experimenting with a new fin set up.

SuP Surfing with Quads
I am a SuP surfer using the quad fins on my 8-8 Naish Hokua X32 in San Diego CA. At first I thought the fins might be too small and so I contacted Stevie who suggested I give them a try and offered a refund if they didn't work well. So far so good. I've had 2 sessions now with waves of 4-7 foot and haven't had any side slippage that I can notice on big bottom turns and they seem to help acceleration down the line.I'll update again once I've had a few more sessions but the quality of the product seems excellent. Especially given the price!. Nice job Stevie and thanks for the great support!!

Poor design
I received my future fins as planned in terms of delivery But the base of the front fins are shorter than the standard box. So you may loose them. For the rear fins they don't have exactly the same base width. Too bad when you know that it's a problem of machine setting! So I'm not convinced. Sorry.

Modifications required for Futures
Excellent quality fins. However, I felt in necessary to subtract a star because the notches at the rear of each of the 4 fin bases were roughly twice as large as they should be (where they "hook" into the finboxes). This caused the fins to have about a 1/8" to 1/4" of "play" in the finboxes, which is unacceptable. There should be no movement. I was able to successfully modify the fins as I completely filled the 4 notches with a resin/shredded fiberglass mixture and then used a Dremel to re-cut the notches at the appropriate size/location. The fins now fit snugly in the boxes with zero play or movement. The modifications took only about an hour of labor time, and about 6 hours of cure time for the resin. Future fins have a standard notch size, so I'm not sure how they made such an obvious mistake?

You, buy these now.
These are awesome for the money! Smaller fins were a little too wide at the base. Just needed about 10 minutes of sanding time. Stevie you good man, you.

Great Service!
First off, I really have to comment Ho Stevie! on their excellent service. The fins arrived right on schedule, and the owner, Steve, immediately sent an email following up on whether the fins met my expectations. As for the quality of these fins, they are definitely durable, as I have already bumped them on the reef a couple times only to find they barely had a scratch on them.I was a bit worried about the fit, because when I inserted them into my futures boxes, they seemed to have a slight gap, and the base portion of one fin was slightly raised out of the box. They were snug and felt solid, so I tried surfing with them and they held fine. I emailed the owner asking about this issue, and he promptly replied that as long as they did not move it should be good to go. So far so good! This price for a set of solid quads seems unreal. I'm happy with my purchase, and definitely thinking of ordering some more of their gear!

Disappointment
Recently purchased these fins (futures) based on the reviews and price point. As you can see in the pics, the rear (small fins) are about 1/8" too short and one was unevenly cut. The front (larger) fins fit into the boxes fine, but will need some sanding on the sides. Although, 3 out of 4 of the fins do not sit into the boxes flush with the board; the edges near the screw stick up which is not a desirable look nor streamlined. The fins are well designed, but the craftsmanship on the fin bases is poor. Ultimately, the quality control is lagging.
