They mount very easily and look great on my little Ranger. I figured these were a better option than the stick on plastic rail protectors. Cheaper, and I think will be handy for tying things down from time to time. The mount feels very solid.This year of Ranger the top sides of the bed are sloped a little bit outward, so you can see in the 2nd picture that the rails also slope out a bit. Just something to keep in mind.

I got these rails for a 2011 Ford Ranger. I did have to make the existing holes a little bigger for my bed liner. But, it was quick and easy. I love the size of these rails and the quality is awesome.

Very easy to install, maybe 15 minutes total. Very sturdy and they look great.
