This vest is pretty close to the real thing. It is genuine, and is real. Not plastic, or cheap. If fits great, looks great, is very comfortable and the fur is very soft on the inside. In the winter, it might actually be functional too and provide some good extra warmth. It really caps off as a great addition to the full costume!There is only one small downside. The seams or cuts along the shoulders are a little big. The shoulders stick out a little but with the poncho over it, then it doesn't matter.

It worked for my costume but The fabric is cheap and thin I would not buy it for the price it is currently at

The vest will do fine for my costume but it is very thin and not substantial for the very high price. As an ex upholsterer of 40 years I recognize the inexpensive fabric from any fabric store and I could cut and sew these at the rate of 3 per hour. They make very, very good money for this item. Just being honest.
