Slightly smaller than the cal-royal
The escutcheons were slightly smaller than the lockset I replaced but it seemed heavy duty enough. Time will tell .

Ni e modern hardware
These were a replacement for hardware that faces a sunny spot. The quality is good with sturdy hardware. My husband installed it quickly and the instructions were easy to understand. They look and fit well on our outdoor French doors.

Will not fit a standard interior door
I liked the weight of the lock (and assume the quality). But I was not able to install it because it was too large for my interior door. It is probably make for exterior doors that have the hole spaced further from the side of the door. I wish I would have know this. But Amazon took it back.

Perfect for my garage <> mudroom door! Now I can easily get in the house with handfuls of groceries.
For ages we've struggled coming home after shopping and trying to open our garage <> mud room door when I finally had an epiphany that I should just get a lever-style handset. Install to replace my aging knob-style handset was simple and straightforward. Two screws on the handset, two screws on the latch. Just need a Philips-head screwdriver and 10 minutes.Now I can grab an armful of groceries and easily open the door!Reasonably priced? Check. Easy to install? Check. Works great? Check.

Good, reasonably priced, but .....
Well made unit that works well, but there is an issue with it. The distance from the door edge to the center of the hole for the lockset is not standard for some doors. I had to move the hole back about 5/16 inch to make it work. The good news is the escutcheon plate is big enough to cover.The lockset works well. The locking function also works well.
