Cordless is a game changer
I have a 1/3 acre garden and it has a lot of trees as does my neighbour's house with a huge oak leaning over my land. Equals trillions of leaves every week. So - 3 years ago I bought a Black and Decker corded blower. It works fine - powerful and does the clean up job but it required planning before I would use it. I needed to get out the blower and then the extension cord. Unravel that and plug it in. Now connect to the blower - I'd use it for a few minutes and then accidentally pull out the extension cord - plug it back in. A few more minutes then I'd realize the cord wasn't following me and see that I had gone round a tree and it was caught around it. turn off the machine, walk over and untangle the cord. Etc etc etc. I mean cleaning up the yard was a real chore and I had to clear a good 2 hours off my calendar to get the job done. Since putting it all away took a while, it certainly wasn't worth just doing half the yard and saving the rest for another day. I decided last week as I stared at all the leaves - on the grass, driveway, pathways and flower beds, that I would get a cordless blower. The Worx arrived and while I made lunch, I charged the battery. 2 hours the first time but much shorter after that. It is dead simple to connect the battery - clicks into the slot - bingo you are set. I love the ease of the cordless instrument - you can wander up and down, turn around, go behind bushes and round trees and there's no cord getting snarled up. It was certainly powerful enough for my needs. At full blast it had the same power as my corded blower and for easy tasks like driveway/pathways I did not need to use the full setting. Changing from low to high gear was a roll of the thumb over the dial. I mean it was just so user friendly. Sure, the battery ran out when I was only half way through the job but "putting it all away"just meant walk inside the shed and put the Worx down - plug in the battery. Done. Today I see the battery is fully charged and will go and finish the job. Cordless really is the way to go for me - it makes me not think about how I need to clear the leaves - I just go and do it.

Great investment!
As a first time home buyer, living at Lake Tahoe, my property is COVERED in pine straw. Now that the snow is nearly entirely melted away, I needed to get all the pine straw removed, to prevent fire hazards (and because it's the law here, due to fire concerns). At almost 60 years old, I didn't want to have to even think about raking the whole front and back yard - they're uneven terrain, strewn with boulders and rocks. And the walkway and parking pad were also covered in pine straw. Always wanted to own a leaf blower, yet didn't want the hassles of gas powered equipment. After extensive research, I bought the 56V Worx blower. I went with the 56v because I've read people complain about the lack of power from lower power units. It arrived today. Effortless to set up, 90 minutes to charge the battery.Went out and in short order, cleared the walkway, parking pad, and my side deck. Also experimented with the pine straw on the yard. This thing is really powerful, so it kicked up a lot of dust. Yet it works really well, and it's very light-weight. So I'll buy some good goggles before I tackle the yard. While the battery doesn't last long on full power, I am okay with that - the shear physical workout just walking around, and carrying the blower (even though it's really light weight relatively speaking) took the wind out of me. (I also have a heart condition, so I need to go slow with yard work). Battery time limits mean I can't over-exert myself. And at only 90 minutes to full charge, that will work out well.

Light & powerful- perfect for our needs
Bought this to use on our back patio, back walk, front porch & quick jobs. It’s very easy to use, convenient & light. Not that it can’t handle more, has plenty of power and variable speed. We keep it on the back patio so my wife or me can just pick it up quickly and use it and NOT smell like gas/exhaust afterwards. The power has been great, almost as good as my larger gas blower. It is much lighter, heaviest part is the battery. Battery life has been good, no issues. I say I use the blower 3+ times a week and have had to charge the battery 1 every month to 6 weeks. Battery life can be dependent on how high you run the blower (speed). I bought one for in-laws and they use theirs as a primary blower. They’re 78 and able to handle it just fine, not too heavy. They have a large driveway & large back patio - does just fine. They have no issue with battery life. It’s not as quiet as what I thought. The obvious noise from the turbines/blower mechanism but the surprise was a high pitched beep when turning on/off ( I guess to let you know). Not bad once you get used to it, like anything else, it is loud. We’ve both had ours for a year - very pleased with them.

enough power short battery life
This unit works great, I have 2 large trees on the property and they put out a fair amount of leaves a week. I did not like the manufactures test of a pile of straw, which made no sense to me when I don't know anybody moving around a pile of straw. my leaves get wet with the sprinklers or rain and are in heavy grass. this machine had no problem moving them around, very comparable to my gas blower. Now the bad side, the battery is small, I only get 12 minutes on full power, I don't use low power, and I don't know why you would (maybe the straw). but you can stretch that because, I turn it off and on a lot, as the switch is right under your thumb. (the gas blower is on all the time when walking from front to back or setting up on a pattern to blow the leaves) It defiantly needs a second battery. overall great unit, plenty of power to move wet leaves.

Great power!
I love the Worx WG591 56V cordless leaf blower!!!!! Without the turbo, it is so strong that it blows the leafs off the deck even when the deck is wet! The battery weighs more than the blower. There is enough power to blow off the 82 foot deck, the 2 car garage and the driveway, we ordered an additional 56V 2.5Ah battery, but it was out of stock. Still waiting to get it. I researched a ton of cordless electric blowers and the reviews all said the same thing. Battery endurance was low. This machine does all I need it to do and more!I also own a Worx electric corded leaf blower but I love the extra convenience of cordless. I would recommend this product to everyone!!!!!

Hurricane force wind on battery power
Super blowing power. Perfect for blasting leaves across the yard. The claimed battery life isn’t at full power. Full power battery life was 20 minutes or so. After I figured that out, I realized that full power isn’t necessary to accomplish what I needed. Battery charges quickly, an Overall, a great purchase.

So so too short battery life
It’s good looking but battery life if too short, I don’t think it could run for 10 minutes on full speedConfirmed on watch it dose not run more then 10 minutes on full speed. It gives good flow of air on full but life is too short on battery.
