Teachers, teacher wrote this book before he crossed over.If you practice the method daily you will get results.Like anything, it is hard work mastering the form;but once you do and apply it everyday, results willfollow. Used for energy accumulation and weight loss.It works!

Good Explanation of a Simple Form
I am an acupuncturist who is enrolled in a medical qigong program. We learned this form to use as a warm up exercise in class, but got little background information. I ordered this book to see if there was a deeper meaning. My answer generally was no, but the book did give little nuances that I missed in class. You could probably learn this form pretty well by using the book and searching Youtube for a video to see what it looks like as a continuous movement.

Happy to have found a copy
I practiced this qigong many years ago, but lost track of the book. When I began to Swimming Dragon practice again, it was helpful to have located it on Amazon. The book provides an explanation of the benefits of the practice as well as step-by-step instructions.

Clear and precise
For anyone who has practiced Quigong or Tai Chi for some time,this book offers clear and easy to follow instructions on howto do Swimming Dragon. For the beginner, it provides a startingpoint, and with a mirror and lots of patience much can befigured out. As for the promise of improved health: this is truefor any Quigong done consistently. Personally, I like thatSwimming Dragon can be performed in a very small space, andthat it completely moves the spine.

Solid book a very nice qigong
This book really teaches you how to do this qigong. I was able to follow it without any issues and though I would recommend follow up with a competent teacher, this book give you a good value for the money. Also, gives you a good indication of why the qigong is good for you which is appreciated. Good value.

I learned this 20 years ago but this gives me everything I needed to relearn it! Great movement that covers a lot and can be learned quickly

Nicely done
As an introduction to Swimming Dragon this is nice, although I really think a short video is necessary to get the whole picture.

Mainstream Swimming Dragon style
Does the mainstream Swimming Dragon very well, but no mention of the other "Ying" and "Yang" SDs that I really bought the book for. Makes the book a bit "thin". A Pity.

as a tai chi instructor, can happily recomend this book as a good sequence work out, good for every part of the body, working on the spine, the meridians and the mind itself... excellent.. but only if you practice..!

I really love this exercise I find this book very useful in perfecting it and it is easy to follow.

Good photos clear written instructions. Would have benfited from more detailed description of movements and how they relate to chi meridians.
