No more or less than expected (a good thing)
When I first received this item, it was dead on arrival (the fan had broken off the main shaft and wouldn't even turn on). The item was immediately and without question replaced within a day or two, without even asking for me to return the original defective fan. While the delay could be irritating if I needed the fan immediately, I was in no rush and was pleased with the quality of service and trust provided, so I did not take this into account in my review score. As for the product itself, it works as advertised so far. Plugged it in and it ran smoothly and pretty much silently right from the start, without any issues encountered. It moves about as much air as I expected, it has no extra features, and it works as advertised.I needed a simple, no frills fan for my desktop, I got exactly what I was looking for. I am satisfied.

Dead Silent at Full Speed!
I was looking specifically for a quiet, low RPM 120mm fan to replace the noisy one in my PC's power supply for a silent build. (Fractal Design R4 case, silent fans everywhere.) This one fit the bill perfectly and I am not disappointed! You will not get a crazy amount of airflow from this fan but it is adequate for my 600w PSU. It is truly silent! I can not hear this thing at all, even with my ear next to the exhaust. This fan would be great for a HTPC case that lacks sound deadening but has plently of openings for airflow. No need for a fan controller because this thing is dead silent at 12v. I will likely purchase more for such a build. I would avoid using this fan in any situation where it's airflow may be restricted in any way, it simply is not designed for that.

Great when not DoA
Got a dud which acted in same manner other reviews at least 2 years ago mention: sporadic loud growling/rattling noise as soon as powered on, physical shaking emanating from center of fan. Didn't take fan apart to identify exact issue. Would be nice if ARCTIC QA resolved manufacturing problem rather than continuing to send defective fans to customers for years, though I can't say just how unlucky I was; maybe I won the case fan defect lottery. As always, Amazon replaced immediately and without question with a couple clicks; tough to ding it much when Amazon mitigates the problem so quickly and effortlessly.Second fan arrived and works as described, does a good job pulling some cool air in to keep HDDs living longer, very competitive price for the specs, no rattling issue.

Its very, very quiet
Great fan and very, very quiet. I stepped the fan speed up to maximum and it still remained ultra-quiet. The only part I didn’t like was having to wait 21 days for UPS “Mail Innovations” to ship it from California to DC. Their “innovation” is creating the world’s slowest shipping service. The fan shipped on July 7th and didn’t arrive until July 26th (11 days late). This is the second time UPS “Mail Innovations” has delivered a package late. Why are they so slow? Are they using the spare space in Amtrak baggage cars? I can’t wait until the drones replace them.

Great fans. Can't hear them at all.
I purchased 3 of these to go along with the two 140 mm fans of the same brand to equalize the air pressure in/out of my case. I wrote a review on the 140 mm fans and had one start making noise just yesterday. Not the case with these 120 mm fans yet. One year later and still super silent.

Always always always check your package
Well, I used half of the 6 fans I received. I made the mistake of putting off a project for months. All the boxes looked perfectly fine and half of them were broken.Unfortunately, I'm way past the return window. Learn from my mistake and inspect your items even if the boxes look totally fine! That said, the fans are super quiet. You sacrifice a little CFM, but man is it nice to not hear a thing.

Spend the $$ to go for a better brand
Its very worth it to shell out just a little extra cash for a better brand like be quiet or corsair. They are indeed quiet but thats because they barely even help at all with airflow. For awhile I had 1 as an intake and 1 as a exhaust along with 2 NZXT fans that were also 1 intake and 1 exhaust. Even if you don't know computers you can literally just put your hand next to where the fans blow out and you can feel your fans (in my case the NZXT's) doing their job whilst these ones don't do much. They are cheap so it's expected but it is worth it to spend a little more to get quality ones
