Works Great and costs a fraction of OEM sensor!
The Speedo on my 97 F250 started pulsing making cruise control annoying. The following week my speedo quit working at slow speeds. It wouldn’t start working until I got up to around 25MPH. Then it would start working. This caused the transmission to shift very hard into 2nd gear and sometimes would give me a P500 code. When I would slow down, the speedo would just quit at around 15MPH. My odometer would also quit working. However, everything worked fine if I drove the truck for more than 20 minutes…seemed to be sensitive to hot/cold.I originally thought that it was the VSS on the pumpkin / Differential. I replaced the VSS but the problem persisted. I even thought that it might be my gauge cluster because I had just replaced some blown bulbs in the gauge cluster right before I started having this problem. After a little research, I was convinced that this sensor was the culprit and I was right. Speedo works perfect now and I can use my cruise control again!!!Installed on 1997 F-250 5.4L 4x4 GVW 7,200 lbs.Just a side note:The first one I ordered was defective (bad bearing) but Amazon sent another one right out and it worked fine but not as smooth as the OEM Motorcraft that I replaced. When you spin it, it just isn’t as smooth as the OEM one is. You also need to take the plastic gear off of your old one and install it on the new one. The quality of this sensor doesn’t seem to be quite as good as the Motorcraft sensor that I removed but you can’t beat the price of this sensor!!!

Seems great, but doesn't fit my application independent of what "My Garage" implies...
NOT FOR MANUAL-LOCKING HUBS: NOT for 1993 Ford F-150 4 x 4 5-speed w/ MANUAL locking hubs. Apparently models with automatic locking hubs utilize this sensor in the transfer case near the rear output shaft...not mine.

Excellent Buy
One of the cars needed this years ago, but we were was never offered a reasonable fix for an erratic odometer, speedometer, digital gauges AND odd A.O.D. shifting. Google and forums led me to this, but it took another month to get it installed as the car had about 4" clearance to get to the tranny/transaxle which a lot of places are shy about working on anyway. Once installed it worked perfectly, even without a hard reset. Absolutely the best part I ever bought for that car.

Works great like it suppose to.
I bought this speed sensor for my 2000 crown Vic, since my original started going south on me causing my speedometer not working at times since this part wasnt a mororcraft product I had second thoughts about it but this one was available and the price was right, well its been over three months and the speedometer works and is acurate, radar and gps speed tested and is right on the money.

Perfect fit...pain in the rear to install
This works perfect. Fixed transmission issues with tranny changing gears too early. Perfect fit. Was the biggest pain to install tho.
