Lexar 400X SD Card 2-Pack: Great Value In A Reliable Brand Card For When You Don't Need Bleeding-Edge Write Speeds
Are there faster SDHC cards? Yes. Even from Lexar's own line. Is there a better value? I'd be hard-pressed to find one!For reference, the Lexar Pro 400X 32GB cards that just arrived from Amazon today bench in ATTO benchmark at 1GB setting with speeds of: 43MB/s Write and 86MB/s Read using a Kingston FCR-HS3 USB-3 card reader, Win7 64-bit on a DELL XPS8500 i7 3.4GHz using SSD drives. To be fair, these are only 400X for use in my D7100 (Primary & Backup), the 600X will be noticeably faster, but I don't blow through shots quickly enough for the small speed difference between the 400x & 600X to be an issue, and I can just about buy a 2-pack of 32GB 400X Lexar cards {$63.22 for both} for the cost of (1) 32GB 600X Lexar card {$61.59 each} as of 8/8/2013.ATTO Benchmark Results For Comparison With Other Card Options43MB/s WRITE | 86MB/s READ - Lexar Professional 400X 32GB SDHC Cards (Purchased August 5, 2013 through Amazon.com)43MB/s WRITE | 47MB/s READ - SanDisk Extreme 45MB/s 16GB SDHC Cards (Purchased September 18, 2012 through Amazon.com)81MB/s WRITE | 90MB/s READ - SanDisk Extreme PRO 95MB/s 32GB SDHC Cards (Purchased August 5, 2013 through Amazon.com)Do I use faster cards? Yes. I use the SanDisk Extreme PRO 95MB/s SDHC cards in the second memory card slot of my D800 as they are the closest match to my Lexar 1000X CF Cards that go in the first memory card slot. (I use them as backup cards when shooting weddings and events.) But for just general fun being out and about shooting nature, or when travelling, these Lexar 400X cards offer more than enough performance without breaking the bank!

Lexar 10 Class 400x
I am fan of the capture of photography of birds by the abundance of species in my country Colombia, my concept is more of fan that technical but it is possible to say the following thing: I have camera Nikon D5100, and basing on the Internet comments on different experiences of brands on this camera, I acquired 2 cards Lexar Professional 400x 32 GB SDHC UHS-1, class 10. The cards it comes in casing of carton and a plastic black protection that contains the casing transparent of the card, of agreeable, easy and rapid opening. It was waiting for a fact in USA but really it is done in Korea. The card is seen of well ended, the coppers already come marked, surely with the first tests of quality of factory. He says as specification that the speed of writing camera to card is of 20MB/s and transference of card to computer of 60MB/s with USB3. Card with top presentations for the D5100 they overcome the speeds of the camera and the money gets lost. It is better it to invest in a card more that it increases the available storage. The card entered softly the camera and equally there goes out, which pleased me. The first thing that I did was to format them in the camera, I went out to take some photos and the camera shot very rapidly up to 35 photos and I gave up the shooter (the camera without review of image), the green light went out like to 5 seconds, time that impresses bearing in mind that my jump is of class 4 to class 10, since in class 4 one was presenting many slowness in the writing and you were losing the only opportunities with the birds; Now the photos seem to have more brightness without it is a concept proved technically (is something possible of improvement?). In the moment I am requesting two cards more Lexar 400x now of 16 GB for fewer risk of loss of files for human fault, as loss, in an alone card. Having already the experience I will remain with this brand for my camera D5100 since other brands have some comments of problems in this NikonHereinafter I will be able to count my experience in the time.

Reliable, Fast Cards.
Not much to say about memory cards. They usually work or they don't work. These seem to work very well."Class 10" means little to most people and after an evening of research, I found that class 10 did not tell me much when it came to the speed of these cards. 133x, 200x, 400x.. (what is the value of x anyway!)SPEED MATTERS! These are 400x cards. They are noticeably faster than previous Class 10 cards I have used.Lexar is a brand I have used before and trust. Included was a code for free image recovery software. (Mixed feelings, hope I don't have to use it.. but better than having to buy it if I ever do).Good, fast cards. Good price.

Premium reliable and high performance for a good price
I love that Lexar offers two packs, since in some cases, I'd rather have two cards than one larger capacity card. I use these as backup cards for one camera, and the primary card for another camera. Performance has been flawless for high fps 16MP raw captures as well as 1080p video.I've had cheaper off-brand flash cards go bad (all the way back from the smartmedia and compactflash days). It's really not worth skimping on the quality of the cards. Lexar is one of the top quality brands, and well worth the premium.

50/50
One is having problems after a year... it still works intermittently after a full format, but when you are a pro shooter you need things to be bullet proof!I've contacted Lexar about replacement but they are a pain in the ass to work with... Eventually I'll have the time to jump through all their hoops and I'm sure it will get replaced as for now it rides in the bag and I hope I don't need to use it. The other one works great and it is fast enough although nothing to write home about.

Fast, safe storage
After using CF cards for years, I bought my first SD-compatible DSLR and with it, a couple of these cards. After several months now, I have to say they are flawless and fast, and the speed with which I can import the images from my Canon 5D MkIII into my MacBook Pro is amazing. I've just ordered an 8GB CF card to match, for the second slot on the camera. Lexar Pro cards are a good match of features and price.

One of the best deals you can find for this caliber of memory card.
These super fast memory cards are the perfect for any photographer or videographer using DSLR cameras. I don't like using cards over 32G on the off chance that it corrupts, so this dual-pack combo is the perfect alternative. The Amazon price / deal beat any offers I could find at the big retailers or any local camera shop. Lexar cards are made properly and are quite durable and can withstand abuse quite well. I strongly recommend this purchase for anyone that has use for SD memory cards.Package came promptly and ahead of schedule, even during the busy holiday season. Packaging included both memory cards and individual plastic cases for each card.
