A thing of beauty, engineered to very high standard made with exceptional materials.I am surprised this is available at such a low price.Purchased this last week for the Gathering Of The Vibes Festival, a four day event running day and night.After connecting a shoulder strap to this extremely light weight setup I was able to carry it twelve hours a day with zero fatigue, it is so light and compact it becomes nearly invisible on the shoulder.OThe chair sets up in thirty seconds and folds back into its pack in the same time.The comfort is exceptional, I was about the event sitting for hours at a time in total comfort, perfect height, tall seating position totally awesome.The beautiful materials and craftsmanship make it beautiful to handle and look at as well, just top quality all the way.In a world of second rate products, this stands as 100% first rate at arguably half what it should cost.I'm ordering a second.Scott8/4/15Two year reviewThis chair is as nice today as two years ago when I bought it, wears like iron.Just finished another four day concert camping event, chair sets up and takes down in 30 seconds, weighs next to nothing.Very comfortable, sit, slouch, stretch or lean back.When in the bag its about the size of a rolled Sunday newspaper.Bag is a snug fit, but I get my cell, sunscreen, cash and keys easily in.I added a shoulder strap to mine.Everytime I set it up somebody comments on it.Just a beautiful thing to own and enjoy.

I just completed a tour of Florida on my Surly Long Haul Disc Trucker. The helinox chair, shown here deployed at camp, fit perfectly on the bike’s front rack. Every day I deployed the chair and stowed it which allowed me to appreciate the great design of this chair. The ease of assembly and disassembly was much appreciated. The light weight and comfort of this chair was and is critical to meet my needs. Well done Helinox.One bit of advice to buyers is to consider purchasing the add-on “ball feet” because the default feet sink in loose soil such as in a forest floor. The default feet are great on hard surfaces and I don’t consider this a flaw of the chair. It’s just that you will need more surface area on the feet to avoid sinking in soft ground.
