Toughest boots to break in
These are probably the toughest stiffest boots I've owned. The fit is snug so the breaking in process is a little less than pleasant so if you're looking for something that's comfortable right out the box these aren't for you unless you get them a size larger. Overall these boots seem very well made and durable without sacrificing aesthetic. I've seen boots of lesser quality sell for nearly twice as much. I'd definitely buy again.

DO NOT BUY THIS! Don't be taken for a fool, like me.
I was waiting for these eagerly, wanting to give them a good polish and take them out to the wild, but when I opened the box, I was shocked, disgusted and infuriated. They are NOT leather, they are a sort of hard, glossy plastic material. Just looking at them pisses me off, they look so cheap in a way that I've never seen or experienced before, they look fake with how plasticity they appear and feel, they even stink of a plastic chemical smell.I don't have a printer, so I was out of luck with this one. These are not worth anywhere near the asking price, don't be fooled, that is all I can say to you.I will not be buying anything from Mil-Tec again.

Reasonably boots for the money paid, sizes appear to run slightly small
Ordered 27 January 2016 at a cost of £42.93. This is now 2020 December, and the boots have been used, albeit infrequently due to fit (which I have now, hopefully sorted).I am generally a size 13, and found these a little small. Which given that it has a steel toe cap (which I have now removed) they caused more toe pain than I really bargained for. My shoe fitting generally averages around size 13, sometimes 14 and very rarely 12... so I guess I'm around a 13/14... on average.I guess if you are usually a 12/13 and normal width (instead of 13/14) these may fit. I don't have particularly wide feet, but the toe box of the steel cap is (was) very cramped. Not wanting to give up on the shoes I watched a YouTube video of a man smashing out a toe cap with a club hammer (on a different shoe) and although fiddly (to cut/tear the fabric inside and pull out the the toe cap) the fit once removed has improved vastly, albeit with no toe protection now.For the money I paid they're not bad. I presume they're made in Brazil (as the steel toe cap is made in Brazil by Flecksteel), the toe cap is a has 0882 12L written on it, which I presume means it's a size 12 (could be 12 US, which would be 11 UK), which either way would explain the front of shoe feeling very cramped. The leather is as expected for a boot at the price I paid, cheap leather (but reasonably thick) coated in black polyurethane on the face to give a shiny finish (the polyurethane will scuff off if you knock the boots). Having said that they have lasted reasonably well given that I have walked around in wet concrete with them, and although have made sure I kept the leather underneath supple with oil, I've not been all that gentle with the boots.

If you have Flat feet like I do you can expect the following
If you have Flat feet like I do you can expect the following:These boots are hard to put on; you will have to take the lasses out of no less than 3 holes on either side. When you walk in them you can expect them to pinch the top of your feet, when you walk. The rubber bottom sole is an extra 8mm – 10mm wider on both sides, making it hard to drive in; if you have a car with small pedals that are close together. Also if you work in an area where you expect to have impacts at the rear of your feet; don’t rely on the shield at the back; it will still hurt. There is no padding in-between the plate and your foot except for a thin piece of shoo material. If you are used to go up a flight of stairs using your toes only be warned; the front of the boots are aimed upwards making it hard to keep your balance.

So far so good
Arrived late but good quality, will take a while to break in but using leather conditioner to help. Bit of discomfort with the top leaving an indentation on the lower leg and the tongue fairly stiff but over time will hopefully soften. Seems good quality overall.

No star.
Very disappointing. At first I thought these Boots Were very good value a couple of months into wearing them have found out they are not waterproof. Contacted the company they expected me to pay the return postage and they have not given me a refund.
