Mountrek Women's Laura Cabin Puff Snow Boot

I was worried that my giant feet wouldn't fit in their size ten AND have room for socks, but I am pleasantly surprised. Really snuggly and plenty of room to tuck your pants inside the ankle as well. Nice treads.Edit: As of January 14th, 2014, the boots are still in wonderful shape no thanks to the last three months' weather in the USA. The boots have very high-quality stitching and water resistant, insulated fabric. Toss them into the washer on cold/gentle with a glug of bleach to keep them bright and hang dry.Double Edit: 2015 was a very long winter in Northern NY, but these boots refused to quit. Have I mentioned how they go with everything?Triple edit: it's 2018, and I should be thinking about getting a new set, but why? There's not a tear or rip on these things, and the soles show no sign of splitting apart. Yeah, they're a little dingy after five years of hard winter's, but what am I, the queen of England? I'll survive (because these boots are so warm and comfy).

When I bought these boots I was looking for a less expensive equivalent to UGGs. I liked the price and I bought them. I really love them. These boots look great on my feet ( I have to say better than UGGs). They are very warm and very-very light. I really don't like heavy shoes that feel like bricks on my legs. With these boots I don't have such problem. They are true to size (for me anyways). They are pretty easy to clean and don't get too dirty overall. If I have a smudge, I just wipe it with damp cloth. These boots have a great quality and stand out in the crowd as different and unique. I like the puffs! Snow boots are not only for wilderness. I wear them everyday! Thank You!

Unfortunately they had only orange in stock, since I needed a boot with a sole that grips nicely so I bought it despite of that annoying, bright orange. Very comfortable and light weight, as others said. I ordered it a size larger than usual because I wear an ankle support on one foot due to tendon injury, meaning I have to make up with a thick sock on the other foot. It has a nice support sole with elevated sides inside the boot that makes it extra comfortable. Tends to come back out though sometimes and has to be pushed back in. Should Amazon ever carry other colors again, I might order a pair in black.

I expected the boots to be larger and more substantial than they actually are. Additionally, while they fit, they do not provide good traction, they slip on slick surfaces, like packed snow and slush, and my foot wiggles around inside. They are waterproof and pretty warm, but I thought they would be more comfortable for walking and would provide better traction in snowy conditions. I live in a cold weather region, and am used to walking on snow, slush and ice, so I know that some boots are better for those types of conditions than others.......these are good for standing in the dog park as they are warm and dry.......but not for walking any distance.......

I didn't pay any attention to the reviews and ordered my regular size 8. They fit perfectly and are so warm, lightweight and comfortable. I liked them so much I bought another pair in lime. Would have gotten the orange but they were out of my size. I would recommend these boots.

These boots are cute, although a bit large (I just ordered a 1/2 size smaller) So, I think these will be going back. My only complaint is they do not close tightly around my calf. Therefore if you go walking in high powder, it goes right down the boot - cold and wet inside.

Good purchase.

I really love these boots! The are so light and comfortable and they have great traction. The only issue is they aren't water p[roof and the fabric stains easily.
