My long garden fence needed re-coating, and I couldn't get my usual paint due to the Covid lockdown. Got this instead. Strange to start with. Very gel-like in consistency, so I didn't even try to spray it - also no mention of spray application on the container. So, brushes ready. Stir well. The I found you can actually dip a brush into it and the brush will come out nearly clean - you need to wiggle the brush back and forth to load the paint on, an easy thing to do once you realise. Goes on easy. At first I thought it wasn't covering at all, particularly on less-absorbent wood, but it rapidly took on a pink colour which I hated. However, as it dried the pink faded completely and it became the Chestnut colour it was supposed to be. Very impressed with coverage. Rougher wood will absorb the paint better than smooth wood, so will also get better blemish-covering than the smooth wood. When dry it does an excellent job of repelling water which just seems to 'bead' and run off.

Bought this one afternoon and it was delivered the following morning. Left it in the box for three days then opened the box and started painting the fence in the back garden. Very pleased with the colour and, as it says on the tin, one coat was enough. Have already recommended it to my son. The nine litre container was just enough to paint our fence and it took my husband three days to complete. Would definitely recommend to others.

I was desperate to get my hands on some fence paint. Couldn't get it anywhere, then I seen it on Amazon. Never used Johnson's before and it was overpriced. I decided to just go for it. It was a really good paint. Easy to use, and a lot thicker than other paints I have used and it dried in a great shade. Can't say how long it will last, but judging on the stain it left on my top, I think it will last.

Too expensive. I have found it in Tesco for a fraction of the price

I liked the product but found that I could buy it for 11.00 where as I paid 49.00 for it. Gutted 😭

Quite expensive for 9LBut covered 20 panels of fencing.. but ran out when had 9 more to do ..

Used for fence panels, looks good and easy to put on.

This is the second tub of paint I’ve bought and both times delivery was very quick and the packaging is excellent, I’ve never bought anything where the packaging was so good. Would recommend paint my fence looks magic and I would recommend this company
