The ham steaks were delicious. They were mostly meat with just enough fat.

Reminds me of the ham I ate as a child. Yummy 😋
I don't like the fact that the delivery person leaves my package on the edge of my porch. I have requested that my packages be left on a white table beside my front door. On the edge of the porch is not visible by my RING. Anyone can walk by and pick up package.

Vacuum seal arrived not sealed.
I ended up throwing the product out because I was not comfortable eating this after seeing there was air in the plastic.

It was wonderful!! Reminded me of the ham my grandmother cooked. It was delicious!!

Covered with a sticky layer of waxy substance.
The flavor was excellent, however tje steak is paper thin and coated with a wax that even when washed would not fully come off and and stick to the heating pan.

Good stuff
Some country ham is just too salty for me. Hobe's is more restrained, nicely balanced for my taste. I went through the first order rather quickly and just ordered some more. The really salty ham is an occasional treat for me, Hobe's I can eat almost every day.
