Actual Product Does Not Match Photos In Seller's Item Description!
I own an older set of Bose QC2 noise cancelling headphones, and have used them nearly every day for years. I'm thinking my QC2 headphones must now be six or more years old and have provided me with very good service. The ear pads wore out after about two years, but I was able to easily purchase replacements to fix that problem. The headband cushion was an altogether different problem because there appears to be no way to remove or to replace it unless you are a technician. The reason is the original Bose headband cushion is installed when the headphones are first manufactured, and have delicate wires running through the cushion that connect the right and left speakers. I tried calling Bose directly to order a replacement cushion but learned that product is not for sale. I asked a Bose rep if I could send Bose my headphones to have a new cushion installed, and the response was Bose did not provide that service. The Bose rep could only recommend for me to retire my QC2 headphones for the newer QC15 model. I didn't want to do that, so I began searching for an after-market solution. That's when I came across the listing by HeadphoneMart and thought my problem would finally be solved. There are three photos in the HeadphoneMart product item description, and those photos clearly indicate there is a seam and zipper on the bottom side of the cushion that would make it possible for a novice like myself to install the cushion. Another photo clearly shows there are plastic clips to hold the cushion into place. I was disappointed greatly when I only received a small bubble mailer with just a cushion inside it. There was no seam on the cushion, nor was there a zipper. There were no plastic clips or instructions how to install the headband cushion. There wasn't even a packing slip telling me how to contact the seller for customer service. Without a seam and zipper I could not see how it would be possible for me to change out my old cushion. I thought maybe I had made an error when purchasing this product, so I re-read the item description and viewed the photos once again. I was correct the first time because with a second look I was able to confirm the product I received did not match the pictures in the seller's listing. Below is the only product information in HeadphoneMart's listing: Brand New! Black Replacement Headband Cushion Pad protector for Bose QC15 QC 2 QC15 Headphones Made from high quality memory foam, these replacement headbands are extremely easy to install! Soft and confortable Protect your headphone Enjoy music and better life! These replacements are not made by Bose Corp. they do not bear any trademarks owned by Bose Corp.So my question is how can this cushion be "extremely easy to install" if there is no seam or zipper? The only way to remove the original headband cushion is to cut it off. I guess I was overly excited about being able to install this cushion because I jumped the gun by cutting off my old cushion prematurely. The old cushion was ugly and black flakes would always rub off of the cushion onto my bald head after using my headphones, but at least I could wear my headphones. Now I only have a metal band with exposed wires, so I guess I'll finally have to upgrade to a new pair of Bose QC15 headphones after all. I recommend highly not to buy this HeadphoneMart product unless you have the technical knowledge to disassemble your headphones and re-solder wires. I suppose the cushion would work for you if you are technically advanced enough to do that. What annoys me the most about HeadphoneMart is they sold me a product that clearly does not match the pictures in their listing. Why would they do that? I have now contacted the seller requesting a refund and will return the product if HeadphoneMart agrees to pay for the return postage.

Product is not as nice looking as original
Product is not as nice looking as original, but functions ok. Unfortunatly, this is a hard piece to replace since folks like "Bose" are very propriatory and want you to buy everything thru them. In this case you would have to buy a whole new head set, because they don't care to make parts like this for it's not profitable for them.

Saved expensive headphones from the trash
I was delighted to find these as it saved my $300 + headphones, on which the padding was flaking and falling apart. The Damex package appears to be well made. They were easy to install, fit well, and are doing the job! Look for YouTube videos on how to replace the earpads and headphone cushion. It's a lot easier than it looks.

Comfortable and easy to install once you look up instructions on Internet. Top band cover is a little loose and obvious that it is aftermarket. Can't beat the price. Shipping time was great.

this works great but you can return your headphones to Bose and get a new pair for a little over $100 in an exchange program, since this headband can't be fixed

End clips would have been nice :-(
Wish they included the clips with this so the ends would be finished off like the original headband. Needed a little more padding so I did like suggested in other reviews and added in the foam from the original headband. Anyone know where I can get the end clips?

Great fit
The headphone band was not easy to replace because of the zipper. The earphones fit.

Works Fine
The fit is not exact...and the zipper that allows an easy installation shows ... as it is positioned to face upward.
