Odi MX Longneck SL No Flange Grip

I purchased these for use on my Razor A5 LUX scooter to replace the foam grips. The foam grips are very narrow and designed for a child's hands which is silly since the A5 LUX is designed for adults up to 225 lbs. Please note you have to cut about 1/2" off of these as they are longer than the handle bars. When you apply the end cap you can't even tell they've been cut. Do some research on installing rubber grips as there are very handy tips on how to install them. I think I applied hairspray or similar to the insides of them and they slid right on. I let them sit over night before using the scooter and they haven't moved at all.

Mine just recently disintegrated into a gooey mess (pictured), but that's after more than two years of everyday bike commuting, so for this price they still get four stars. When they're new, the grip is really plush and a comfy. The difficulty of taking them on and off is actually an asset if you live in an urban era where theft is a problem (yes, I've had screw-to-tighten grips stolen before).I'm currently experimenting with grip tape on flat bars to see if it lasts longer, otherwise I would have replaced these with an identical pair.

I love ODI longnecks. These are shorter than the ones i had which is disappointing because i like long grips. Ended up putting these on a bike i don't use often.

My wife's bike needed new grips. I'm an old school BMX guy, so I had to buy ODI. My wife loves the color and feel of these grips. After seeing them, my daughter immediately ask for another pair for her bike. My son is now asking for the same grips for his BMX bike.

I got this for my nephew who found these grips because the ones that use to be on his bike somehow mysteriously disappeared. Go figure.

Comfortable grips and great royal blue color. Medium cushion (there are thicker cushioned grips out there). Stays on great. I Googled how to install and rubbing alcohol was recommended. It worked great. It makes them very slippery to slide on and adjust as needed. Then the alcohol evaporates overnight and they stay put.

I bought these for my 11 yr old and 13 yr old for use on their Razor scooters. They viewed a you tube video that shows how to stretch the grips to make them longer and cover more of the handles. They boiled the grips for a couple minutes and using a towel, installed them on the scooter. There were no problems with the modification and install was easy although hammering the end-caps on was too difficult for the 11 yr old.

At last I own a pair of ODI Mushrooms and it's only taken 35 years lol, We lusted after these for our BMX'S back in the early 80's but they where always too expensive, I'm so happy that I found these for my mountain bike, They are really comfortable compared to the old sticky Lizzard Skins I had on the bike, I love them that much that I am planning to buy a pair for my second mountain bike and also 2 more pairs for spair

This has far exceeded my expectations and is exactly what I was looking for. A comfortable and grippy grip. Clearly, a lot od thought and consideration has gone into all aspects of the design (including the packaging, which can up-cycles into a keyring! What?! Yes, a keyring). Its made in the USA which makes a nice change to China. As soon as you open the box and touch this item you will love it, just whatever you do - buy it. You can always return it, but you won't, you will be so blown away you will get off you bicycle butt and write a similar review to this.

They look nice but were TOUGH to get on. In the end resorted to using a bit of deodorant spray to slide them on and let it dry overnight.They are very soft. If I had realised how soft, I might have gone for something else as I am used to a much firmer grip. Time will tell if they last or wear out quickly.Bar end plugs are nice though. Rubbery, not plastic so should last and not crack and fall out.

looks awesome and feels great. I have not had the chance to fully test it but it seems to be the right size for me.one tip to fit it, use WD40 and some muscle. once it's in. It wont come off. somehow the WD40 dries out.Nice touch is that the packaging acts as a key ring! bar ends didnt fit my handlebar but that's ok (will definitely fit steel BMX bars)

Got these to replace lock-on trips that were too hard (and with annoying collars)...These Odi grips are so,so comfortable and Grippy! I've never had a bad Odi product, and ill probably get a spare pair, since softer does wear quicker....Bar grips seem ridiculously expensive these days, so I'm chuffed with these!
