Miami Beach Chocolates: Vegan chocolates were good within a few days yet, tasted horrible and spoiled at day 7; which left 6 expensive vegan chocolates thrown away, including the vegan chocolate heart box. No instructions were offered in the packaging regarding care of the product, and I left them on the kitchen counter (away from the stove and window to avoid heat and sunlight). There was also no suggested timeline for consumption, other than a reprimand (see response) to "finish the box pretty quickly." I contacted the company with no offer from them to refund my purchase or send me a new box with better instructions. This was their quoted messaged response:"Thank you for your order & thank you for reaching out. I am glad you enjoyed most of the box but sorry you had to throw out the remaining 6 chocolates. People usually cant resist and finish the box pretty quickly. When people ask us how to keep the chocolates and if they should be refrigerated, we always respond do not refrigerate as refrigeration can damage the chocolates. Chocolates should be kept in room temperature 60-70 degrees, not in any direct sunlight or near hot appliances, and not in areas where there is humidity. We also dont put in preservatives in our product as mentioned as one of the key facts Thank you,Eli Miami Beach Chocolates"

For the price, I expected more from the packaging/presentation. The heart arrived with the same amount of pizzaz as a low cost coffee cake from the grocery store. Too close to V Day to send it back, so I'll try to dress it up myself for a more romantic reveal. They did ship it on ice so at least it arrived whole, unchipped, and unmelted. Upgraded to three stars for the quality of the chocolate and very tasty truffles. The heart box itself is a lot of chocolate!

Can't tell the difference.. it's incredible. The truffles were all Good - some great, some just good - depends on what your tastes are like.. but the chocolate itself is spot on. No complaints about anything, will definitely order again (although if they made a vegan Turtle-like truffle, I'd be even more smitten).

My girlfriend really loved the truffles, but the true star of this chocolate set was the box itself. My girlfriend felt that the box was tastier than the truffles, and there was so much of it that there was extra to make cookies with later.

So saw the negative review and star ratings in this and didn’t think it was fair. Agree it doesn’t come in a decorative box but that’s not why you are buying it. It tastes great and was pretty special. Bit of a vegan chocolate snob. Like got bars imported from Switzerland last year so I was ready to be disappointed. Definitely not the case. Great truffles. Good chocolate box. Happy significant other.
